It's almost incomprehensible how trump managed to betray everybody at the same time. He betrayed every wing of his coalition, the isolationists and the hawks, the fiscal conservatives, the win at all costs trolls. All of them. He betrayed every ally on the planet, including and maybe especially Israel and the Gulf States, but also Europe and India. He betrayed JD Vance and Tulsi, Fox News and the manosphere. Pretty much the only people on the planet he didn't betray were his haters, who get another major example of his gross incompetence to mock.

The more you look at it the more you think, ok, none of this gonna happen. Trump wants to pull out the military because its costing him gazillions, Iran wants them gone. this is an excuse to turn tail and GTFO. Nothing will be accomplished beyond that, at least nothing else directly because of this memorandum.

Honestly, I don’t think Trump gives a damn about the cost. Like any bully he’s a full on pooseye when things get tough. He does care about the opinion polling though and how he rates. He’s a flaming fem.

He cares about the gas prices, the stock market and the opinion polls. Not in an honest or empathic way, just because those things legitimize his power grabs and protect his corruption. The Us leaving will open up the strait, lifting sanctions on iran until gas prices normalize also helps that. Once gas prices are stabilized and he's got us all clucking about his next disaster, he'll find some some retarded way to gaslight a victory over this and go right back to crippling Iran. Iran better be very careful where they put that toll money.
