I would add there were times this year where they asked him if he wanted to continue and get more carries. he said let those guys eat too. In hindsight, I think if he knew he was gonna be this close to the record then he probably wouldn’t have done that and just taken those yards.

also, the Eagles have had an awesome season. So it’s really hard to say complain or say this, but some of the reason he’s not going for that record is some of the eagles own doing. Like if Saquon catches the ball against Atlanta, defense doesn’t let cousins go 70 yards in under 90 seconds, Smith catches the ball against the commanders or they don’t give up 22 points in the fourth quarter to the commanders. They have something besides just a rushing record to play for and he easily gets it. Like it is harsh to say cause 13-3 is an awesome achievement and not easy to win 13+ games

Yeah, they should have blown 2 more games and then they'd have something to play for Sunday!

Absolutely, and had they lost two more games, they'd be playing for something too.  

Interestingly, I think the Eagles will have a tougher game in the wild card round than divisional.

OJ’s should have an asterisk, as should Dickerson’s.  I would prefer that they list the records from 12 games (Brown?) and 14 (Simpson) and 16 (Dickerson) and 17 (Dickerson currently) all with no asterisks.

Tbh depends on who’s their divisional round opponent. If commanders (6 seed currently) beat rams/bucs (3) and Minnesota/lions beats the 4 then i think Minnesota/lions is a tougher divisional round opponent then GB

If Ohio St wins the national title they better thank Michigan.  That loss really drove them to this.

OSU lost to Michigan because they brain cramped and didn’t go over the top of them.  They easily could’ve but they either didn’t trust Howard that day, or he was dinged up.  It was weird.  If they played next week, OSU would win by 3 scores

As I said earlier, the parallel is just because a player is on IR, doesn’t mean he is required to be on IR. 

Since the bye, most yards the Eagles D has given up at home is 302- one they gave up less than 200, the rest in the mid 200s.  Most points was 23 to the Jags.

I'll take the Eagles at home against any team.
