The biggest positive of this game was that the Offense didn't miss a beat when Saquan was out for a long part of the game and pretty ineffective the rest of the game.

We are not as Saquan dependent as believed.

Minnesota loses one of the next three games (CHI, SEA, GB) and then beats the Lions week 18.

GB has a legit chance of winning.  The others won’t do it.

When the Saquon fix isn't there, let me get a hit of that passing attack.

It didn't get the hoopla at the time, but Baun had an incredible play in a key moment. He was lined up the left side and committed early to a blitz. At the snap he pulled back and rotated to the right side where Dean blitzed instead. Wilson threw to the flat on the right side and Baun continued all the way across the formation to the other side of the field to bring down the receiver for a negligible gain...just wow. The Eagles are so lucky to have Bain.

What do we need for #1?  Devastating that the Packers didn’t take care of business against the Lions.

Most likely scenario is Vikings loss to either Seahawks or Packers in the next 2 weeks... then Vikings beat Lions in the last game... but Lions would still hold tiebreak over Vikings... so the Vikings would be locked in to the 5 seed ahead of time.

So... we really need the 49ers or Bears to take down the Lions along the way somewhere.  Seems unlikely that either team can keep pace with their offense.

So, if MIN loses a game ahead of DET they’ll likely have nothing to play for Week 18… is that right?

The good thing is we’re locked in as a top 2 seed. So even if we don’t get the bye we can rest week 18 anyway.

And we got Jacksonville. I remember the days when we'd get maybe 1 win vs our AFC opponents in a season.

The Lions would be playing for the 1 seed assuming we don’t lose.

The Vikings I think take the North if they end up with the same record as DET and beat them.

Also, his attitude on the field before the commercial break was troubling as well.  Confidently waving the Steeler offense back onto the field was inappropriate.

Oh my. He wanted to make up for it and wreck the offensive line.

People forget this is a violent sport and want dudes in the middle of games to be soft.

Are the Seahawks seriously honoring a punter?  I mean….that would be my dream job, but they should never get any sort of recognition. In fact, the end of Inglorious **** comes to mind.

The flea-flicker was the Steelers' only play over 20 yards.

So the NFL has to do something about their referee crews and penalties after the season is over right? From calling enough penalties to take over the game, to missing over the top obvious penalties, it's ridiculous.

The worse call of the year against Blankenship and the QB slide, still no holding calls on Jalen Carter, no hip drops (they made the rule), the hands to the face on Steen on a holding call against him, and on and on. Either the NFL continues to be a huge hypocrite or the NFL is rigged. I'm convinced it might even be both.

Something HAS to be done though. It makes the game unwatchable and unenjoyable. When you have announcers week in and week out calling out the poor job, you have to make a change.

Yup.  He's been a monster, but he has a lot of growing up left to do.    Might be worth benching him for the first series against Washington next week to send a little message.

I wouldn’t say they didn’t miss a beat, but this was one of Hurts best games (if not the best) of the year.  It was certainly encouraging, but they put the game away when they were able to at least sprinkle him in to keep Pitt honest.  Whether that was on Barkley or not, nobody will know.

The Vikings play in Seattle... so there's a better chance than if it was in Minny.

I think when Jalen starts the Eagles are 15-1 VS the AFC since 2021 (15-2 if you count the Super Bowl).  Only loss is that fluky Jets game last year. Guys that was the 1st home game all season (Including Brazil) that didn't come down to the end.  They got the ball back, ran the clock down and closed them out.  Great win.

Seems so, unless Detroit ALSO loses a game ahead of that.

Minnesota only has division games left.. so a loss in the division gives Detroit the better division record (Det already won the first matchup).

Full time refs and a D-league, where the worst crews get relegated down.
