Im baffled some ppl thought buff/det was a good game. Det made a  valiant effort late; but Buffalo controlled it from start to finish.

Yeah Detroit was playing catch up most of the game. It never felt like Buffalo was going to lose.

Saquon was dinged up.

This comes off as an a-hole IMO

Also for me it was never really about throwing more. It was holding the ball too long when there are open receivers (he still did that in this game)

Agreed. You had 200 yards combined the last 2 weeks with AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. YES, we the expectations are for you to be a great QB week in and week out with the understand that there are ebbs and flows throughout the season. But when your season has more 200 yards or less games, yeah we want more.

Open as 3.5 point favorites at Washington.

And on top of that a lot are saying it’s a SB preview

Detroit has a great offense but I don’t think they can overcome the onslaught of injuries to their defense.

None of the six teams Minnesota has beaten since their two losses has a winning record.

I fear the Bays.

You type like William Shatner talks

Best four teams in the NFC are 3 from the North and us.

Elliott looked much better kicking today

Getting to hit two long ones on the same drive was a gift.  Helped him get back in the groove.

Frankly, even before the injuries i thought the Lions defense was slightly overrated. I think you could score on them with good offenses. Now with the injuries it makes it easier to be able to score on them.

imo I think the three best teams in the nfc are eagles, lions and packers. If Jordan love doesn’t turn the ball over like he has the past four weeks they are capable of competing with eagles and lions. It’s why that lions game went down to the wire in Detroit. I think the divisional round games will be extremely competitive. Can have a packers vs. rams and Tampa vs. Vikings WC matchups. The rams and packers both might be the two scariest teams in the WC round. I think Tampa and Vikings are just behind them.

My take is this: Fans and media like to critique everything to the point of being absurd and call out professionals for anything they want. Then when someone calls them out for their critiques, they can't take it.

Again, that's just the way I see it.

And the best win Detroit has is probably GB or Minnesota.

I am literally laughing out loud!

The Niners or Bears must beat the Lions over the next couple of weeks, otherwise #1 seed is probably out of reach and the Eagles can rest starters week 18

I'll believe he's back when he hits from 50+, that seems to his mental block.

Hollywood gonna up their movie offer. Big Dom & Hurtt buddy cop action comedy.

21 play drive taking 10+ minutes off the clock to end the game. That had 2022 vibes. Just took the life out of them.

Today felt like what I think we’re going to see these next few weeks, with Gainwell taking on more. The load management should probably start for Saquon going into the playoffs. Need him at 110%. Forget about the rushing record.

I don't root for anyone to get hurt besides Clowney, but football IS a game of attrition.  And I don't feel bad for any team losing players (I always feel bad for the players).  We lost key players to injuries when we were on good runs in the past.  And of course, the pinnacle of overcoming such things was the Wentz/Foles situation.  Adapt and overcome. Or perish.  F it.

It is what it is and the Lions will not win the SB because their defense is thin AF now.

Not on point to your post, but I don't think any team can beat this Eagles team with this defense, if we can manage to keep what we got health wise into the playoffs.  And yeah, that includes the Bills, Chiefs and Bucs. WE are the team to beat.  Most complete and we have the defense.

Well, the pressure is on them. They can't lose and have harder schedules than the Eagles. Eagles did their job and things will work out.

I'd almost prefer the Lions get the 1 because they are the walking wounded who may not make it to the NFCCG.
