Something really needs to be done about the refs, or the NFL just needs to admit they’re basically the WWE.  That play to set up the TD run where Love scrambled the entire O false started.

Which is why I said that the Eagles had such a long shot to still get the 1 seed.  The Packers-Bills back to back was the best chance.  They split, so they remain very much in the drivers seat, without a lot left in their way... just Chicago and SF stand in the way if the Vikings drop a game along the way to week 18.   Of course, the Vikings could still play to win that final game since it would have potentially huge implications for the top seed... and they could play spoilers.  BUT, I think the smarter thing for them would be to rest their starters for that one to get themselves in their best position for the playoffs.

If the Vikings beat the Lions, and the Vikings drop another game before the end of the season, the Lions have a better division record than the Vikings.

The worse call of the year against Blankenship and the QB slide, still no holding calls on Jalen Carter, no hip drops (they made the rule), the hands to the face on Steen on a holding call against him, and on and on. Either the NFL continues to be a huge hypocrite or the NFL is rigged. I'm convinced it might even be both. 

Something HAS to be done though. It makes the game unwatchable and unenjoyable. When you have announcers week in and week out calling out the poor job, you have to make a change. 

I'm not sure what they need to do but this year seems horrible all over the league

Absolutely wild, nobody had a Sam Darnold led Minnesota Vikings being in play for the #1 seed middle of December on their 2024 NFL season bingo card.

If the Lions win their next 2 games, then the Vikings MUST win all 3 of them (tomorrow + next 2) for the Vikings to actually try. Vikings lose all tie-breakers to Detroit as currently stands

Next a big Chicago win next week.

It’s probably past the point where we should all just fully accept that it’s been about 20 years running now that the NFL has brought in $6B+ in revenue a year.  No business doing that is left up to chance.  It’s been close to 10 years since I left Vegas, but living there and doing small money parlays at a time where i was way more religious in watching, and you could follow betting trends on a macro scale easier with there not being 42069 different betting apps, was eye opening.
