Ranking of who I want to see win the SB this year:

1. Eagles
2. Bills
3. Detroit

So yeah, if the Eagles don't win it then the Bills are the next team I'd like to see win it instead and then if they don't win it then Detroit would be who i'd like to see win it.

This post is on point.

Bills vs. Lions would be fun, as I would actually watch the entire game. Most SBs I don't care about and barely watch.

Nolan and Dean are two guys who have proven their doubters wrong.

Both of them being high character guys also cements the leadership of the defense for years to come.

Dean is playing decent ball, but he’s hardly proving anyone wrong if we are being honest.  He’s still very lost in coverage, I’ve seen him getting confused on where to line up a few times.  When he’s able to come downhill and rush or fill a gap against the run he’s at his best.  His play has certainly been encouraging at times, but I think some of it is a product of the D as a whole.  When the D is playing well he’s still the worst player on it, but playing decent.  When they’re awful, he’s the worst and it’s very visible.

Have to imagine he can recruit like hell

To a certain extent.  It is Sacramento St after all.  Not sure how many top recruits will want to go there.

He’ll probably get fined for the end zone celebrations

So do Falcons just move on from Kurt Coupons because they will have a ton of dead money

The Falcons got their hands on Penix in the draft, and they are not letting go any time soon. It's time to play.

I don’t think Penix is a plug-and-play guy.  I think he’ll struggle some at first (even more than some rookie QBs).

My guess is they’ll compete in training camp next year, which will add some dysfunction there

He has solid protection and toys to play with

I disagree. Honestly.

I don’t think he just shows up to camp to compete. He was already reportedly "blindsided” by the Penix pick. Now that he got benched "going forward” I have a hard time seeing him be happy. It’s basically the Wentz situation all over.

Wonder if shanahan will believe he can get the most out of him rather than pay purdy. Frankly both scenarios aren’t good

Nolan Smith figuring it out is one of the best developments of the year.

After what Washington did to Slay, I think everyone was looking for ways to get the best of him from that point on.
