Maybe it's because I have a headache but wouldn't dropped passes impact completion percentages the most? That's literally part of the percent

Also why would passes when the QB is hit be excluded?

The difference between 1 and 10 is less than 3 percentage points... so basically if a QB is allowed to throw and the WR doesn't drop it, 4 out of 5 times that bad.  Yeah, where's the beef!

A good guess. I don’t know the answer, but I’d add Rodney Harrison, Jack Tatum, Andre Waters, Night Train Lane, and Ronnie Lott to the list of possibles.

Hardy Brown.  Pretty sure.

And as in my example of changing the number of points for field goals from further away, they are also harder... and fantasy football also offers more points for long kicks than for short ones.  Maybe the NFL should change the field goal rules too!

The 3 point shot fundamentally changed the game and the game is on the decline now that the analytics have made it the preferred shot.

I wonder when the 4 point shot will be introduced to "improve" the game even more.

Who knows?  Maxey likes hitting them from 30 feet out from time to time.  👀

Best I could do:

An entirely original alien creature with a unique design, wearing a Philadelphia Eagles hoodie. The alien has a distinctive look, featuring a vibrant green skin tone, a small stature, large glowing eyes, and uniquely shaped ears. The Philadelphia Eagles hoodie prominently displays the team's logo and colors (green, black, and white), fitting snugly on the alien. The setting is a futuristic, softly lit environment with a peaceful atmosphere. The style is detailed and realistic, emphasizing the alien's individuality and the hoodie design.

It’s not coming up on my phone?  Just a blank ?

This stat actually makes sense, because Hurts can't throw his receivers open or throw with any anticipation.  He has to wait until they have created a crazy amount of separation before he releases the ball, so of course his adjusted completion % would be insanely high.  He doesn't attempt to make any tight or difficult throws.

Nothing on earth could get me to break up with Olivia Wilde.

According to my adjusted completion percentage calculations, if you take away every incompletion, Hurts has a 100% completion percentage.

Especially in that movie, 10/10

Good news for strength of schedule showdown.

I’m not sure how that’s good news… Strength of schedule is never going in our favor.  The 49ers play the Lions… We want them more able to beat them

Them along with Detroit will most likely get their coaching staffs plucked in the offseason.  I'm especially interested to see Detroit next year without Ben Johnson.  I could see them coming way back down to earth if they don't have the right playcaller.

I’m not sure where I heard it… But there was some speculation that Ben Johnson may not even want a head coaching job.  I’m not sure how credible it is, but he was a hot candidate last year too and was never really close to taking a job.

Richardson’s career has been grossly mishandled by the Colts. That’s not on him in my view. In any case, he has only played 14 games. He's still only 22 years old. Everyone knew he was a project. There’s plenty of time left for him to develop.

Hurts was benched in college too.

You’re severely underestimating the value of physically gifted QBs and the willingness of teams to try to develop them.

You grossly over estimate the value of the physical traits

Kind of quietly, Josh Sweat is having a pro bowl type season.  He is the best at setting the edge on the Eagles, sacks and has embraced OLB dropping in coverage.  I don’t think he has given up a catch doing the latter.  (Granted, I know he only drops like 1-2% of the time.

Ya that's a crazy take. Sustained success at the NFL level is much harder than it seems like. Plenty of flash in the pan coaches have flamed out after failing to adapt to the changes to the game over long periods of time. Even Gibbs really struggled to string together wins in his second stint with the skins. Reid and Belichick have sustained success over a much, much, much longer period of time than Harbaugh. 25 years vs 5 years is a joke of a comparison.

Well for one the Lions aren't playing the 49ers this week and that's an injury for this week.  Secondly, I ran through the games yesterday of who I figured the likely winners and the score came out to Eagles 22 and Vikings 16 which is extremely close to going the Eagles way.  It is well within the realm of possible that the Eagles could have the strength of schedule.  Just need some upsets to go in their direction.  For example, if the Panthers win 2 of their next 3 then the points would swing 25 Eagles and 13 Vikings which would give the Eagles the strength of victory over the Vikings.

Panthers next 3: Cardinals at home, @ Bucs & @ Falcons.  I don't see them beating the Bucs but I could definitely see them beating the Cardinals and Falcons.
