Jayden Daniels is moving better now than when we played him. He's likely recovered a bit from his rib injury.

At the same time, they've lost Ekeler, Noah Brown and likely Ertz for this game. That's 3 of his 5 best targets from that game (Robinson, Scary Terry). Play the run/contain, double Terry and we should be fine.

Skins will be tough.  They now have Lattimore at CB and Allen at DT may play this week.  This game will be far from easy.

Best I could do:

An entirely original alien creature with a unique design, wearing a Philadelphia Eagles hoodie. The alien has a distinctive look, featuring a vibrant green skin tone, a small stature, large glowing eyes, and uniquely shaped ears. The Philadelphia Eagles hoodie prominently displays the team's logo and colors (green, black, and white), fitting snugly on the alien. The setting is a futuristic, softly lit environment with a peaceful atmosphere. The style is detailed and realistic, emphasizing the alien's individuality and the hoodie design.

Why do we need to double terry? Q shut him down by himself last game.

The Eagles may very well be the most complete team in the NFL, but if there is a reason they fall short this year I still think it’s the passing game despite what we saw Sunday. They still need to show they can do it consistently and do it when teams adjust. And as we’ve seen with the Ravens, the reason they fall short every year is because their passing attack flat out dies every playoffs and running the ball just isn’t sufficient enough for them to get over the hump. I think the Eagles are capable of doing it, but they need to do it. I want to see what it looks like on sunday. Will they pick up where they left off or will it look like the Carolina game again?

I think Washington is now going to try to shutdown the passing game and Saquon is going to eat.   I also think AJ will still have another big game. Eagles have been fantastic on the Road this season.

If I was an NFL DC, I'd force them to throw.  Best case scenario, you can get sacks, fumbles, or INTS.   Worst case scenario, you at least don't have the team playing keep away and you get the ball with opportunities to score yourself.

Thing is… We don’t really know how much success Pittsburgh would have had if Saquon didn’t get banged up and missed a lot of the first half. Even then he had what nearly 70 yards? So a quiet day for him but that’s effectively in less than 3 quarters.

I actually think gainwell was equally as important for us against the steelers. those 2 3rd down plays were crucial

Kind of meaningless data to compare most of these guys with Halas, Shula and even Brown. When Nick has 40 seasons under his belt, let’s see how that compares.

Absolutely. The rule against head slaps is specifically the Deacon Jones rule.  The inventor of the sack.  (Not the TFL of a QB, but rather the term "sack”.).  His head slap was vicious.

lol...it was vicious because he slapped with both hands at times....he would slap one hand over the helmet ear hole and then slap the other hand over the other ear hole and compress the skull...wow...what a crazy game it was back then

Don't disagree, to a point.  Eras matter.

A big chunk of Halas' wins were against teams that ended up folding before the season ended.

Looked up some early mock drafts and almost all of them have Jalen Milroe in the 1st rd, some in the top 10. Does the 2025 draft suck?

It's an absolute horrid QB class and Milroe stinks

If we win the next three games, would it be the first sweep of the division since 2004?! Repeating is tough enough, but sweeping the entire division doesn’t happen very often.

Toughest test coming on Sunday. Defense has to consistently stop the run and we should win the game handily…

It would also put the Eagles record over .500 for the first time since their very first year of existence.  It would also move Siriani’s winning percentage up two spots in the all time winning percentage list … past George Allen and right on the heels of Vince Lombardi.

I think they will try everything to stop the running game and make Hurts beat them. Even with the success he had last week, I still think it’s the only formula that opposing teams will use in trying to stop our offense. IMO, it’s the only shot they really have. If the running game is working, they will not stop the Eagles. Only turnovers could derail them then.

I think the Over/Under will be 89.

The Commanders are terrible against the run and very good against the pass. So you want us to attack their strength and not their weakness for...reasons?

I only rank head coaches I was alive to see.  My list:

1.  Joe Gibbs.  Three Super Bowls with 3 different QBs.

2.  Chuck Noll.  4 Super Bowls with Terry Bradshaw, who I think everyone can see is as dumb as a box of rocks

3.  Don Shula.  Winningest head coach in history and the Dolphins have never been any good with any other head coach before or since

4.  Bill Belichick.  Most Super Bowl wins, but cheating knocks a person down a few pegs.

5.  Andy Reid.  3 Super Bowls (and counting?).  Yes, he's got Mahomes -- but he made Mahomes.

6.  Bill Walsh.  3 Super Bowls in SF, but George Seifert took over and also won 2 of his own.  Also, Carmen Policy and DeBartolo cheated much like Kraft/Belichick did.

7.   Tom Landry.  2 Super Bowls, an offensive and defensive architect, and a nice hat

Once you get past that point, 8-12 are up for debate.  Some really good ones still building a resume (McVay), some who quit very early (Madden), some very overrated (Parcells).

Absolutely. It was a tough look for Jalen to boast in his press conference after the game IMO. Maybe put that energy into doing it again.

I'm curious where you would place Vermeil on this list.

I take the data from https://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/, then sort out the coaches from before the SB era and less than 50 games.

I didn't say anything of the sort, you're making up points for you to argue against.
