11 different NFL teams have had Josh Johnson dead cap hits. (2 of them twice)

He has made about 9.5 million over his career not counting all the perks and NFLPA money and pension, etc etc.

He will be trying for his 2nd NFL win in 11 starts.

I take pleasure in watching the Bills lose every year. Their fans have infested this entire country, and I find it funny when they choke every single year. I will be rooting for any team that plays the Bills.

They became hypocrites about the sneak. Sucks because I liked their team and their fanbase is pretty similar to Eagles

We don’t know that. Sirianni may have asked him. Further, with much of the OL out he may have considered that as a factor.

We do know it, Barkley said it. But he was just asked his opinion on it, it wasn't his decision.

"He asked me if I wanted to play, if I wanted to go for it,” Barkley said on Wednesday. "I said on Sunday I probably didn’t care too much for it. When I slept on it, it was an opportunity to implant my name in football history. May never get another opportunity like that again so I’m down.

"But at the end of the day, I don’t care for putting the team as risk. He’s the head coach for a reason. He makes the decisions and whatever decision he wanted to make, I let him know if you want me to play, I’m going to go out there and make sure I get it. If we don’t, I’m OK with that too.”

"I wanted to do it but once I found out that we’re not, it kind of made it easier for me because it’s not my decision. It’s coach’s decision,” he said. "I’m glad that I didn’t have to make that decision. Because, say, if you go out there for a selfish reason and something negative happens and I’m the one that’s out there trying to get the offensive line to go play and beat the record for me, it sounds crazy. Honestly, I’m just happy I didn’t have to make that decision. Nick made it easier on me. I’m truly at peace with it.”

IMO, BG is DE4 and needs to be treated as such. Hunt and Smith are more important to this team.

But I guarantee those two will play snaps and BG won’t.

I think both Hunt and Smith need the reps. I understand wanting to keep them healthy and I hope they limit them but I also think giving them a few pass rush reps will benefit their development.

If you want to think like that then the entire starting offense should play

Hunt doesn't need to play. If they want to play Nolan because he has been nonexistent since he came back then fine, but it would worse to play Hunt when it isn't necessary.

If it's about incentive in the contract, just pay it and move on.

Absolutely

Doubt Smith plays at all, nor do I think he should.

If Barkely sits with the all time rushing record on the line (which I agreed with), then no way am I putting Smith out there to simply achieve 1000 yards, which is pretty meaningless in todays game.

If it's about incentive in the contract, just pay it and move on.

A lot of benching Barkley also had to do with giving the offensive line a break. DeVonta getting to 1,000 isn’t as contingent on relying on the starting OL. But yeah, I agree, chasing 1,000 yards is stupid.

Lions are tanking. 3rd seed it is

? They’re playing starters

I have a question for everyone. If the Eagles are not playing in the Super Bowl, is there any possible matchup where you would be rooting for the NFC team?

For me, the Bears would probably be the only one I’d root for, unless they play the Bills (or maybe the Chargers.)

If the Ravens (who I generally hate) were the AFC team, I would maybe root for the Panthers or Packers.

But overall, I’d say there is a very strong chance I’m rooting for the AFC team this year if the Eagles aren’t in it.

If the Broncos, Steelers or Ravens make it, anyone they play. Outside of that, Panthers…because I want to see Scam Newton try to avoid talking about it.

Bills fans are the AFC version of us…that’s just wrong lol.

And if we do go on and win the SB, we can say we did so as the #1, #2 and #3 seed.

Eagles 20

Early weather for the playoff game is unseasonably not as cold. Like 48-50 degrees on Saturday or Sunday.

Rams are going to beat them. Gives me Bucs NFCCG at the Vet vibes beating them that many times in a row and having played them earlier in the year. I wouldn't be shocked if SM turned to someone on the plane ride home and said I've got them the same way Gruden did.

All because Nick had to have his idiot friend as OC because anyone else would tell him how stupid his turtle BS is and how clueless he is with offenses. Nick singlehandedly took this team down this year and doesn't deserve to keep his job just because Vic and Howie won him a SB last year.
