We don't know whaat their agents want for them. That's why to say it is either/or is silly. It could be either/or, it could be neither or it could be both. I don't want Dean to leave the building. As soon as he leaves the lineup people forget how good he is. Blankenship is quite good and certainly can't be replaced by just anybody. A one year Howie rental special will not replace Blank. I'm willing to let this play out and see what their offers are before demanding one or the other. It would be interesting if we could get Vic drunk and ask which one he wants more.

We won't see those. But, jhust like last year, we can get a pretty good idea ahead of time. We knew Williams and Sweat were going to get big money. We knew Baun was going to get a big deal. And we knew that it was going to be ONE, if any, of Baun, Williams and Sweat. And it was. Similarly, we knew that Becton was going to get a sizable offer, as would Rodgers. He got perhaps a little less than many thought... and was the one that Howie might have missed on last year.

This coming year, we can be pretty sure that both Blankenship and Dean are going to be looking for a 'life changing' deal. Dean likely wants to maximize this contract, because of his injury history, he's not likely to get another lucrative deal. Blank might be the one that might be a little more reasonable and more likely to take a 'team friendly' deal, but that's only speculation.

It wasn't, but he wasn't good before that hit either. I don't think he gets pulled from the game if its close. It wasn't close, so they erred on the side of caution.

But theres been times that Dean has run stride for stride with really fast RBs down field on wheel routes. Youd never expect him to be in position like he has been, especially after his injury last year. Just as well, hes covered the flats extremely well too. He’s for sure had some decent coverage plays. He is playing out of his mind this year. Still struggles a bit going backwards. That’s why there’s a platoon. I wasn’t trying to paint him as chopped liver, he’s been a spark this year definitely.

Before his hamstring injury, Dean was playing top 5 LB level. If that's his ceiling, you bring him back.

I think Bigsby could have a big game but I assume we’ll give up catches to McLaurin and our backups tackling Deebo could be issue but maybe those guys don’t play entire game
