First we need an OC who does not call vertical routes into a zone with the game on the line....just so consistently dumb.

IMO you can't overlook the coaching deficit on offense and how it messed with the psychology of all these players.

You can only bear so much before your play starts sliding.

Hurts having to be on his A game every night to make the one read that is open every other play. Saquon dodging 2 tacklers in the backfield all day. AJ and Smitty catching in traffic over and over again. Eventually it brings everyone down and that's what we saw.

No pro bowlers, no one got any better all year. Insisting on running shotgun and having Calcaterra blocking air. It's demoralizing over a whole season

I could see him saying he will coach 1 or 2 more years and hand it off to an assistant.

You don't need to replace AJ with a top 10 receiver. You need a competent WR2, smitty is WR1. This team doesn't pass the ball at a rate that needs 2 top 15 receivers which is why AJ can go

Yeah if you told me in 2016 that we could go to 3 SBs and win two of them by 2025 but we then would lose a for a few years I would have pulled a hammy running to sign that deal.

The Eagles have the most expensive offense in the NFL. Now, without looking up...I'm reasonably confident that every player on offense except TE is slated to make more money in 2026 than 2025. (Tends to happen when you have 10 of 11 starters under contract).

How can they find a way to make this offense cheaper in 2026 than 2025? The net cap number on offense HAS to go down.

And paying Goedert good money is a horrible start to trying to accomplish that.

This WR class sucks anyway. This isn’t the draft to find a WR. And honestly unfortunately for the Eagles it’s not a great OL class either. Good edge rush class though

I don't know that they had a successful play caller available unless you're saying you just wanted to see them try something, like anything.

As for last years', I think a lot of people forget that the passing offense was actually pretty scrubby for most of the year, but that didn't matter because the OL kept Barkley clean at the first level constantly, letting him make some really excellent runs.

Siri isn't going anywhere. Stefanski is at the top of the list for OC to replace patullo. Someone needs to burn sheet at his front door tonight

Normally after a playoff loss im gutted but im surprisingly relieved

This year was a 💩 show and I dont have to watch it anymore

I can just casually watch football and enjoy it.

Not sure who to root for.

Not the bears, though I think they have a really well constructed roster and a good offensive philosophy and scheme but I just cant.

Niners can eat a D, I hope seattle puts up 60 on them.

Rams been talking all year that they should have won super bowl last year, last I checked they lost in the snow

Not the Pats because you know theyre the cheating evil empire, im sure whatever cheating voodoo magic they had with belicheat and brady the new Pats are doing the same.

Bills or chargers winning their first would be cool. Maybe ill root for AFC.

I’m actually not depressed about losing today. I wanted the Eagles to win every game they play. However, hearing Mike Garafolo say that if the Eagles win, they’re gonna keep Pattulo angered me. Because it shouldn’t be just about wins when your offense is bottom 10 in DVOA and bad offensively. There should be a standard of expectations placed on your offense given the talent you have and money spent.

I love winning games. Frankly, I will take a playoff win anyway I can get them. But I also look at the fact it is really hard to win a Super Bowl if the recipe is gonna be 2024. where you have to have a historic run game and the best defense in the league to overcome the fact that your pass offense has been wildly inconsistent for 2 years

I'm not a Hurts basher, but I recognize his limitations as a passer. They can hamstring an OC, and it takes an OC with something a little more up his sleeve to maximize him, especially as his mobility decreases. The idea that he has ever been a top 3 QB in this league is laughable. He's a very good player, but he's not a QB you want leading the team for a GW drive with the game on the line and he has to throw the ball the whole way. That's not who he is as a QB. He's a QB that works much better as a front runner... not a gunslinger.

Im not ready to trade Barkley yet but I am highly disapointed in him. And yes I know the OL didnt block well, but there is enough of a sample from Tank to see success was there to be had and Barkley's running style is just too soft.

You know, people loved and respected Steven Jackson for the rams who always grinded out 1000 yard seasons behind a horrible OL with a poor yards per carry average. His OL couldnt block. He earned tough yards to get his production.

Barkley just lost tons and tons of yards dancing this year, and going down on first contact. Looks like tarzan plays like jane.

If the OL can get fixed, Ill keep him for his playmaking ability. But they better be ready to mix in a RB2 a lot more. Hopefully the new OC will mix it up nicely like Ben Johnson did last year in Detroit with those 2 RBs.
