Move the best wr in franchise history and use a first rd pick to try and replace him when we have more pressing needs? Guard in the 2nd rd? Are we going to neglect the need for a CB2, DE, and LT?

IMO you can't overlook the coaching deficit on offense and how it messed with the psychology of all these players.

You can only bear so much before your play starts sliding.

Hurts having to be on his A game every night to make the one read that is open every other play. Saquon dodging 2 tacklers in the backfield all day. AJ and Smitty catching in traffic over and over again. Eventually it brings everyone down and that's what we saw.

No pro bowlers, no one got any better all year. Insisting on running shotgun and having Calcaterra blocking air. It's demoralizing over a whole season

I could see him saying he will coach 1 or 2 more years and hand it off to an assistant.

You don't need to replace AJ with a top 10 receiver. You need a competent WR2, smitty is WR1. This team doesn't pass the ball at a rate that needs 2 top 15 receivers which is why AJ can go

Yeah if you told me in 2016 that we could go to 3 SBs and win two of them by 2025 but we then would lose a for a few years I would have pulled a hammy running to sign that deal.

The Eagles have the most expensive offense in the NFL. Now, without looking up...I'm reasonably confident that every player on offense except TE is slated to make more money in 2026 than 2025. (Tends to happen when you have 10 of 11 starters under contract).

THAT IS A PROBLEM.

How can they find a way to make this offense cheaper in 2026 than 2025? The net cap number on offense HAS to go down.

And paying Goedert good money is a horrible start to trying to accomplish that.

This WR class sucks anyway. This isn’t the draft to find a WR. And honestly unfortunately for the Eagles it’s not a great OL class either. Good edge rush class though

I don't know that they had a successful play caller available unless you're saying you just wanted to see them try something, like anything.

As for last years', I think a lot of people forget that the passing offense was actually pretty scrubby for most of the year, but that didn't matter because the OL kept Barkley clean at the first level constantly, letting him make some really excellent runs.

Siri isn't going anywhere. Stefanski is at the top of the list for OC to replace patullo. Someone needs to burn sheet at his front door tonight
