Yup - unfortunately he’s a depreciating asset as well.

The raiders and browns love those.

Rams at Bears over under might be 70

Have you guys seen Hurts run this year? Purdy might be faster.

His style of play will end his career sooner rather than later

Defense is very far from being responsible for the loss in my eyes. Can't make every stop, seems that some in here expected that. If the offense scores 1 TD off 2 turnovers instead of 1 fg, they win the game. But the offense once again couldn't even make it to 20 points against a bottom 15 defense

They gave up two longish fourth-quarter TD drives in the wind with the lead. You can’t just skip over that because the offense was bad.

Wonder what we could get for Hurts, Barkley, and Brown in a trade

Very little for Barkley considering we gave him a sparkly new contract.

The defense was crap, just admit it. They got tow picks off of Purdy dead ducks. Other than that they made a bunch of backups look like pro bowlers. It was embarrassing

His straight up refusal to run at all this year was baffling.

He's not as fast as he once was... and as he's getting older, those hits hurt more. I've said it for years... but QB's who have running as one of their primary weapons have a seriously short shelf life of effectiveness. They either become much better as a passer, who they are pretty much done by the time they hit 30, just like so many other positions.

TAKE THE POINTS! lol.

Has that hit every playoff game so far?

Just want a qb that can complete passes and a good offensive scheme.

Maybe we can blame Howie & Lurie some for allowing it. They had to know behind the scenes he's a f'n moron. They should've told Nick he can be a part of the staff obviously, even promote him, but not to the level he was with no insurance. What a f'n disaster

Purdy has always been quicker. He actually has a lot of burst for a QB.

Big loser energy (unless he manned up and met with the media and I missed it)

Yeah no defending him doing it. Can’t do that. Imo i think he’s out after the sideline incident with sirianni. that can’t happen either from sirianni or brown.

that said sirianni is here in 2026 but if they don’t go win that Super Bowl, I’m not so sure he’s not on the hot seat after today. You’re just lost to a team who had a ton of injuries on defense. Arguably their 3 best defensive players are out. Also lost arguably their second best weapon on offense for half the game. They had to travel across the country. yet you managed to still only scored 19 points and lose that game.

Without his ability to run, why would you want him?

We have no chance at moving him for at least another year. So, we are stuck with him. That's just the reality of the situation.

At least we dont have to watch this crap anymore. Embarassing offense, every game that wasnt agains the raiders absolutely sucked to watch. I haven't hated an eagles offense like this in a long team, even when the offense sucked at least there was usually a lack of talent. This group has zero excuses at all and their insistence that they were "about to turn the corner" all Fing year was infuriating.

How I view this game...Lane Johnson needs to retire, I love him but he is long in the tooth, and hurt a lot. Its time. they need to replace our OL. I thought it was redculous, they gave up on the run once again. Saw it coming. Said it before the game started. Our Defense is awesome and played well. Our offense had nothing, as usual.

What do think about the AJ Brown situation?

Let's go get Harbaugh!

Hurts is not a QB who can be effective if he's not actively gaining chunks and first downs on the ground and a threat to run impacting coverages when he's passing. Even the biggest Hurts supporters will acknowledge that.

Hurts will be 28 next year. The running threat is fading. So how does this end?

I'll be shocked if Howie extends him. They'll draft a qb day 2 in the next couple drafts to take over the future

So it ended up in fact being more or less 2023 again but we won the division this time

That's what people said about Wentz

Defense did enough to win, offense didn't. It's really that easy and why i'm bot blaming a defense who basically carried this limp D offense to a winning record. With even an average defense we're under .500 and out of the playoffs

Even when he did run it looked like he was gling half speed then he'd slide after getting a yard.

Not sure he was dinged all year or he and coaches made a concerted effort to keep him healthy but if there were any time for him to run it would have been today in the playoffs with the season on the line.

I mean steve young at the age of 30 was running around making plays with his league and while he was a far better passer he would still run smd dive, heck john elway at 150 years old was helicoptering over guys.

Hurts ability to run around over and through defenses made the offense dynamic yet this year it was a non factor.

Hurts isnt good enough as a passer to win games without his ability to run.

The first Purdy pick was because of pressure, so no reason to knock it. The second one was just an awful throw and decision.
