Them being a good defense doesn't excuse the runs up the middle constantly that everyone knew was coming. Few creative plays here and there, but then it would stop. It's late. I can't remember them all, but it felt like one "why???" call after another for a while there. Came out good after the half and then back to "why". GB is a good defense and they sure made some plays and deserve credit, but KP went back to KP before the Minny game again for way too long in that game. And where was Tank? Did he get hurt?

Yes. The fear of running to the outside really irks me. Along with getting to the LOS late. But there were several plays just blown up by GB. Also, he didn't have Lane for about half the game, which sort of took away the 6 OL look that was probably a big part of the game plan.

No but this offense needs more than 10 points

Wow! Really?

Go ahead and research teams this year that scored 10 points one week and see what they scored the next week.

Not good teams or great teams, any teams.

If you see a pattern of 10s then you might be on to something.

I was out this evening for birthday dinner and only caught the second half. Really poor performance from Hurts; last season the Eagles asserted themselves offensively through Barkley, the OL, and Hurts. The defense was the best in the league through the second half of the season and carried them to their Super Bowl championship win. Teams are going to continue to make the Eagles throw the ball effectively in order to win. Give Hurts his credit — the Eagles are 7-2 and Hurts does a much better than average job of not giving the ball away. The defense will continue to keep the Eagles in solid shape, but this year the offense lacks the capability to put teams away.

Hurts and Love looked like mirror images of each other tonight, and that’s not good on Hurts’ part. Several missed easy throws, even the big play by Barkley was an easy throw Barkley had to pick off of his shoe tops. The worst thing the Eagles did down the stretch wasn’t the 4th down gamble — it was the two terrible throws by Hurts which stopped the clock on consecutive plays and left the Packers with 2:20 and two timeouts remaining instead of zero. The second down play was a missed block on Parsons, but Hurts needed to run for what he could get and keep the clock running instead of flinging it out of bounds. The QB needs to be smarter there.

Early forecast is for mid-50s at game time Sunday night. But it will be dark outside. That may affect Goff more than the cold.

Really? Is he scared of the dark or something?

I think he wants to go for it. listening to his presser, he’s reasoning is idiotic. The eagles are analytics organization. The analytics drop from 99% chance to win to 94%.

I'll say this though. I came in expecting to be super pissed over the difference in win percentage, but when you tell me a 5% variance, I say, well, maybe it's not that big a deal, then.

Oh my gosh that's a good point. Get the freaking play in faster. Let Hurts have some time to read the defense and not have to rush to snap the ball because KP can't make a decision quick enough. Lane is a good point as well.

What is a big deal is the extra time it will take for them to go the extra 15-20 yards after a punt with no time outs and 40 something seconds. I'm sure the numbers tell a story as well, but it's common sense. Make them go further and make them take time off the clock.

I said I was not going to rant about the offense but man...

The clock thing is so easy to fix if your OC is not brain dead.

It throws everything off and if Hurts does get to the line and see something he could attack, which he's been good at, that's gone now because of a coach. We agree.

Agree 100%.

Great win!

Freezing game in Green Bay on MNF. DL looks legit which is really important. Eagles have beaten the best teams on the road sorry if I’m not focusing on style points. A lot of these prettt teams have played bad teams

I'll take the W. That was a HUGE game in the playoff seeding. Next week is just as big!

Let's go!!!

The defense took another step tonight. The offense is what it is, especially against a good GB defense, but Lane lives to play another day. This is good, time to rest.

Reminds me of 2023, but the difference being that defense completely falling apart and the panic musical chairs at DC that only caused a snowball of a downfall instead of stabilizing what was a 2 game defensive extreme slide. Vic is the main difference here in that we have talent on defense and we have an all time great championship winning DC. No one has backed up their revenge talk and broke the will of this Eagles team like the 49ers did that season. Unless it is the Lions, it seems unlikely. Could be the cowboys too but with them not being playoff likely I just don't see that having the same impact. Eagles already got blown out by an inferior division opponent this season and they have won 3 games since, including two road wins at places that are difficult to win on the road.

The giants game wasn't even close. The Broncos game still bothers me. Between the collapse and terrible officiating. Absolutely no reason that should have been a loss.

D Gunn and Seth shredded Nick for his decisions and his PC saying nothing. They are right.

We are 1.5 point favorites over Detroit on Draft Kings.

One can argue that Sirianni's decision was simply an aggressive call to win the game now. He put faith in his players on offense and had faith in his defense if it didn't work. Of course people are going to second guess him either way if we fail. Personally, I prefer aggressive decisions that attempt to win games as opposed to conservative ones that are trying not to lose. Win some ... lose some ...

btw ... we won the game.

They were before this game too. I’m guessing money comes in on Detroit as the week goes on.

I still think DeVonta had the defense beat on that 2nd down play that could have been a 65+ score.

DeVonta should have something like 800 and 5 this year instead of 657 and 3.

FEED HIM!

He has been awesome pretty much his entire life.

Sure, but I think there is a difference between aggressive and stupid in that situation. Stupid kept the Lions out of the SB two years ago. I'd prefer he put his faith in the players on defense there with only 40 seconds left and no TO.

If the eagles win the Super Bowl this year, it’s going to be ugly.

A lot of defense, a lot of stalled offense, and basically the eagles out grind the opposition 1-4 point wins.

Oh yeah, I would be super pissed if we win the Super Bowl in ugly fashion.

Slightly disrespectful IMHO
