Eagles

I tend to agree. There was an article I read this morning on bleedinggreennation that breaks down how much the Eagles can save over the next 3 years by trading him this year. They can save 113 million in cash payouts over the next 3 years. That alone is why I believe he could be traded. It helps locking down the core players on defense. I'm a big fan of AJ. I don't want to see him in another uniform outside the Eagles but that's a good chunk of change to spread around

I don’t usually get personal on here, but your post hit me. I’ve been where you are. I’ve had a couple suicide attempts in my past and spent time in inpatient treatment afterward. I’m still in therap

Bears just traded Moore due to cap reasons and have Burden to fill the void. Idiot

I'm guessing it's cheap since it didn't seem like he had a market. Love the move though

There's only two teams he'll be on this upcoming season. Eagles or Pats. There's no guarantee the Pats are going to hold out or change their draft plans to land him. If they get a guy they like in the draft and bring Diggs back on a lower deal, AJ will be playing his last year with the Eagles this season. Pending the trade deadline. Maybe a desperate team offers Howie what he wants

yeah - because Southeastern Louisana is such a football powerhouse

If he were to play here this year and get released/traded next year? They owe him $29M in cash this year so that’s what they would save trading him this year vs next

Excellent. Insurance & depth, don't have to be desperate to draft an OT this year (but take one if they love him & think he'll be the future.) Can draft OG, C and other positions. OT in next year's class.

I remember a few fans thinking Fred would not sign here because he wants to be a starter.

Fred and Epps made too much sense to bring back. Fred isn't amazing, but gives em solid depth so they don't have to feel pressured to reach for an OT in the draft if there isn't one they love. Go get Ioane or just go BPA.

I had Fred, Epps, and another Edge(Greenard?) on the checklist before the draft. Edge I think is the last remaining shoe to drop before the draft.
