Not sure ethics are involved. Where I think Jerry crossed the line with Parsons in stating they had an agreement. If Jerry stated his offer and his reasons why that should be okay. (Agent has a fiduciary duty to present the offer. If Jerry negotiated directly with Parsons, that is a little shaky (and may be interference with a contract). But if Parsons responded to Jerry by directly negotiating, I think Jerry can respond. The obligation under the agent’s contract is Parsons’ not Jerry’s.

Maybe not - but there’s an optimization here where as AJ gains leverage over the Eagles through bad behavior, he loses it with the new team as they’ll have less invested into him.

Dreading a potential dome or retractable because the NFL has rules where you gotta close the roof sub 50 or maybe it’s 45 degrees. Which means we’d never get another outdoor home playoff game again in our lifetimes. Don’t do it, Jeff. Would just be all kinds of bad vibes and would legitimately significant hurt my interest in the Eagles and football. I don’t enjoy watching football indoors.

He is absolute dog crap when it comes to having any type of feel for pitching. I remember right where I was when he blew the game vs AZ a few years ago in the NLCS. Everyone knew the two people who shouldn't pitch and he put them in anyway. I can't stand the guy

He wants a SB more than he cares. I'm guessing they can't use real grass on retractable fields? On top of what you said what are the injury rates for teams that play on turf in those stadiums vs grass?

The messaging is everything. "We'll see what happens down the road" is not something the owner says about a star player if they plan to keep them around. Add that to Howie's "he's on the roster and that's all I will say" from the other day and it isn't difficult to see where this is headed.

That isn't the same as a dome, what you are talking about is a retractable roof which they can choose to keep open or shut. I would be perfectly fine with that. A dome on the other hand would absolutely suck.

I get his point, but breakdowns of offensive line prospects don't get views. No one gives a crap about that stuff. People have to realize most of the sports fan world are not football geeks like that. Ever see someone break down OL film? it's Fing boring. They didn't pay him millions to have him break down technique on a guy from Fing Arizona State that 5 people in the country are going to watch.

Fun and ad libbing is what gets views and clicks. It's what has made Kelce's podcast so popular. They're going to use him in that fun guy kind of role.

That absolutely blows because it means more of Rheau Hughes in the morning. I thought for sure Kaney was being groomed to take over for her. Hughes is the worst and doesn't fit with the current morning show as a holdover from that God awful Angelo Cataldi show.

Jason Kelce is only nominally more tolerable than Gronk at this point. It’s a shtick and, for me, it’s played out.

I think the acoustic/crowd noise advantage of a new stadium with a retractable roof exceeds any weather advantage of playing in the elements in the playoffs.

That’s a huge advantage in domes and in Seattle, all of which are loud solely because of acoustics, not the actual fans. If Philly gets a stadium like that, it’ll be a pain in the ass for opposing offenses. The Linc, acoustically, is one of the worst stadiums in the NFL.
