Unless he was caught banging underage girls, I don't think he's going to lose his job over this, that's crazy.

She named her kid "Michael George Vrabel"? WTF

Actually the one thing no one seems to be bringing up.. are they even her husband's kids?

Dude might wanna get them a DNA test. If that's the next story that breaks...

IMG_3797.jpeg

Let's break down the 2 parts of this that deserve investigation:

  1. Vrabel's texting with AJ. As the coach of another team, if he was texting AJ and suggesting he'd trade for him, that's letter of the law tampering and the Pats should be punished (but won't be). This is black and white.

  2. If Vrabel was encouraging Russini to play up the story, and she did so, with the intent of trying to harm the Eagles trade leverage - or their locker room/season - then that could also be viewed as tampering. Vrabel sharing info with her that they are discussing a trade - legal. Vrabel asking her to exaggerate or invent stuff to try and impact the Eagles = tampering. Even if it had no impact on Howie, intent matters. They'd need messages proving she was putting out stories with the intent of helping her side piece.

Im praying the big thing he is hinting at, and Glazer hinted at yesterday will be a Jalen Hurts trade. Hurts is a diva, and it is more accepted for him than it was for AJ. But the publicized workout with Loeffler is another shot across the bow. In addition to his comments in past instances implying he isnt thrilled with Siri, and wasnt thrilled with Patullo. And isnt thrilled with the offense. And the coaches and players both telling reporters Jalen is not coachable, etc.

Hurts isnt a Mannion offense type of QB. It could finally be time to move on!

Stop, your getting me excited

He chose that dumpster fire, he put up with the BS she said about him on air, but still....feel bad for the guy.

While sad for the families, if being a dirty bird was grounds for league punishment Tyreek Hill would have been executed by now. Hell didn't Fletcher Cox pull a shotgun on someone he was banging's boyfriend?

Even having contact with a player for another team could be considered tampering, right? Especially, when his side piece is running the stories creating tension.

Yeah, I was gonna post it and forgot. I wonder if he just beat a bunch of bums or he’s a real sleeper. It definitely got my attention though.

He was great at the all star game. At the combine, his teammate Caldwell stole all the buzz but Caldwell can't play.

Allen is the hidden gem who was getting noticed at the senior bowl.

Outside of media availability, how much energy do you think the team put into this AJ stuff? Do you think the players didn’t study the game plan or practice hard because of it? Did they go home at night and lay in bed thinking of Russini reports? Did they miss blocks because of it? Did Patullo sit around reading these articles instead of game planning? Goodness, man. You guys are overblowing this by a significant margin.

I definitely think it impacted the game plans. We saw that play out as the offense shifted to try to force feed AJ the ball.

And it was very clearly an ongoing distraction and annoyance that wouldn't go away with the nonstop questions. If you can't comprehend how that was a distraction then I guess you are of the belief that there is nothing that could ever actually be classified as a distraction to a team.

No. They are allowed to have contact. There has to be an involved intent to break contractual agreements.

What are the odds we fire Nick and hire Vrabel if Pats let him go 😀 lol

Hopefully zero.

Well, if Vrabel is texting AJ. And Russini was THE reporter pushing an AJ Brown trade. And Russini/Vrabel worked together on this....

I think even saying "we'd be interested in trading for you" is too far. He didn't have to encourage AJ to ask for a trade, just make clear they were interested.

I think Saddiq is possible. They could factor in picks they'll get for AJ and say TE helps at receiver. Though OL still is most likely

I will not be happy with any of the OL.

I'm cool with trading for Greenard. If it's a 3rd that's ok

AJ called the offense predictable. He wasn't wrong fogtag. Your bf going to fist you while you watch the draft together?

I've always said the Vrabel texts have the potential to be more damning than anything with Russini and should be what the focus is on.

I do wonder if the Eagles would even call for an investigation at this point in time. If they are under the belief Brown is being traded and have operated that way all offseason and Brown thinks he's going to his favorite team I don't know if they would want to derail that trade. Then they are either stuck with a more miserable Brown or have to trade him for less to someone else. Maybe after the trade is done they would have a different feel about it all.
