These reporters don’t get paid for knowledge, they get paid for clicks like any member of the media. They just have to know about 1% more than the average fan which isn’t hard.

Eh. I know you can make an argument for an asterisk on both of those but I never felt like we 100% deserved to win either of those games.

My experience is one night stands came in two basic varieties

1) chemistry wasn't there and no point trying again - this tends to be independent of looks, just one of those things

2) she was out to get laid, and had no intention of seeing you again so she shed her inhibitions and went "crazy on you." Typical was after a breakup, horny girl who didn't want a relationship right now and gave you a wrong telephone #.

The "10" at 2:00 AM never worked for me, at that point I want a pillow, not to get laid.

If I met someone, the midnight hour (as per Wicked Pickett) was not spent at the bar.

This is a pretty cool stat. I immediately started looking for the fewest games/chances a QB had to lead a comeback or lead the offense to 28+ points, which also indicate how well their defenses support them. Goff, Dak, Geno, and Tua all had more than 20 games in which lead to a win. There may be more than one QB listed for a single team/defense in that span that when combined might put a team above 20 as well, I didn't really look for that. Anyway, cool stat.

My experience with what was essentially a one night stand fell into a third category. The young lady in question was leaving within 72 hours for a year of academics at Oxford or Cambridge (my memory is fuzzy on which one) and despite our mutual assurances to each other that a "complication” given that was unwise, our hormones got the better of us. Many years later we met again, but without any hormonal interference. It was mutually shocking.

Its pretty obvious that the D has carried a poor offense the past 2 years. Whereas prior to that the D stunk and the offense was putting up more points back when Hurts made up for his deficiencies by using his legs.

This is not a surprising stat. Nor does it disprove any assertion that Hurts was carried to a super bowl by the D and an elite run game.

I hope one day we can actually play well on both sides of the ball in the same season. Maybe this is the year.
