Bo went on a mini rant in the post game and I agreed with every word he said. Basically talking about how he has no idea wtf the Eagles are doing with backup QB and whatever they've been trying to do with it this offseason has gone about as poorly as it possibly could have. And why the hell they needed to play a 39 year old Dalton who they know who he is at this point instead of getting Payton reps. Or why the hell they brought Dalton in to begin with. All it has done it take reps away from McKee and you can tell neither of them are happy with this arrangement, so you have two QBs splitting reps, both struggling, and neither happy with what's going on.

And he's right. Makes me wonder who exactly was in charge of divvying up the playing time tonight. Was it Howie or Sirianni. It comes off as disjointed and not really well thought out. Not that it matters much, but preseason games require preseason gripes. Get them out of the way before the real games start.

Well, I see the value in bringing in a veteran presence but Andy f'n Dalton. The guy has literally done jack ish in the league besides suck and as far as I know has no previous experience in the new scheme. At this point, idk what they do at backup besides keep McKee cut Dalton and hope that someone cuts a backup that is worth a crap. Like, maybe, that McCord guy they cut last year...

I agree the backup QB decisions were suspect tho I wouldn’t subject myself to watching Bo say it :)

What I think happened was they kept hoping someone would separate and it just never happened and they just kept going down the path

They should’ve had enough information on both before this game. If this game swayed their way on who they choose in any way then that’s not great. Dalton has been in the league for almost 20 years. The whole thing feels like they’re just winging it.

I'm more upset they didn't give the kid time than anything else but maybe they think they can get him through waivers?

2017 looked pretty easy before Wentz got hurt, and the Saquon offense looked easy in a lot of games also after they made the switch to a ground attack offense

I don't know if 2017 looked easy, but it sure was fun. I remember being at the Rams game and thinking I don't think I've had this much fun watching an Eagles team, ever.

Edit 2004 was crazy fun, too. I was at the 49-21? game in dallas. That was a good weekend trip.

I think they can get him through waivers tho him playing on ST was interesting. Maybe they see a specialty role for him.

It honestly feels like they don’t care about these games at all except to get a few guys used to contact a bit

Losing shoe on top of it. Reminds me of my friend who from middle school to through high school that every time he got into a fight either his shirt would get ripped off or his pants would fall down and despite what happened in the fights, those were always what people remembered about them. And it happened every time. We are talking 3-4+ times over 3 years. That is what is happening to McKee right now. Instead of 3-4 fights over 3 years, it is 3 games in the last 4 he has played in.

Was he getting in fights wearing the clothes or were the clothes getting in fights with him in them?

Sounds like the clothes had a little moxie and weren't afraid to mix it up. You got a problem with haberdashery, m******f****?

Probably can get both to the PS… will they get poached at the end of the season, maybe.

They can only get "poached" if they choose to sign with another team. They may want to stay here with Hurtt and the team that gave them a chance

Youd like to be able to see those projects through to completion but if they are not as protected as Mailata was under newer rules, thats tough. Not exactly worth roster spots. Especially being that there are 2 of them.

It's stupid they got rid of the protected spot. You have this whole setup and then punish teams that use it
