But this is only the first round. 6ers have yet to make it to an eastern conference finals, let alone an NBA finals. Long road ahead. This might mean something to Embiid personally, but I dont think it does anything for his legacy.

May 3May 3 Sixers have Embiid for a half series and win 3 straight. Crazy. I'm thinking rest Embiid for first couple games of Knicks series and hope for a split. He's on fumes after this one. Give that knee a rest.

May 3May 3 McCain trade was the right move once Edgecomb was established as a cornerstone. Guy can't defend and is small. Getting a 1 (#22) in a very strong draft and three 2nds is a real good deal. Not really a Morey fan, but I don't fault him on that one at all.

Think he's at best, a 6th man on a winning team. Not the same explosiveness after knee injury. Wasn't really athletic in the 1st place. Edgecombe is twice the player he is. More complete.

Morey sold high here IMO. Rather invest this 1st we got here for McCain for a wing who can start or Center to develop post Embiid

He's like 15-20 minutes a game player and averaged 5 minutes a game on last 4 games vs Suns and out of rotation now. I'm not seeing it with this guy as anything you can't replace easily in the future.
