But this is only the first round. 6ers have yet to make it to an eastern conference finals, let alone an NBA finals. Long road ahead. Yesterday at 02:18 AM1 day Sixers have Embiid for a half series and win 3 straight. Crazy. I'm thinking rest Embiid for first couple games of Knicks series and hope for a split. He's on fumes after this one. Give that knee a rest.

Yesterday at 02:24 AM1 day McCain trade was the right move once Edgecomb was established as a cornerstone. Guy can't defend and is small. Getting a 1 (#22) in a very strong draft and three 2nds is a real good deal. Not really a Morey fan, but I don't fault him on that one at all.

Think he's at best, a 6th man on a winning team. Not the same explosiveness after knee injury. Wasn't really athletic in the 1st place. Edgecombe is twice the player he is. More complete.

He's like 15-20 minutes a game player and averaged 5 minutes a game on last 4 games vs Suns and out of rotation now. I'm not seeing it with this guy as anything you can't replace easily in the future.
