Maybe a $ thing, where you don’t want to pickup the contract (although I imagine TEN is eating most of it).

Team claiming him would only be on the hook for his 1.145 million base.

I’d put in a claim for Milton. 1.075mm this year and 1.19mm next year is great value.

Think you’d have to pick between him and Cole Payton in that scenario. Or at least expose Payton to waivers. I don’t like Milton as the primary backup on a team with SB aspirations, and I also don’t like keeping 4 QBs. The Cowboys picking our QB3 last year over him is kinda all we need to know. But as QB3, you get a year of practice with him, maybe he develops and you get an intriguing QB2 in 2027. I like Payton as a prospect, so I wouldn’t do this, but it wouldn’t be the worst idea.

Too much.

It would be funny to see 5 QBs on the roster even if just for a minute.

We will unleash a new formation where they all throw the ball around to each other

Flag football strategy takes the league by storm.

Positives - We didn't lose anyone to waivers that should cause anyone to lose sleep over. The PS looks pretty solid with 3 spots left to fill. After everyone freaked out about Weru and Bernard they both cleared and are on the PS.

Negatives - Safety and Tight End have been concerns all off-season and they still are heading into week one. Yo Howie, wake up bro. This is probably just me obsessing over something that isn't even all that important but I still can't wrap my head around EJ FN Jenkins making this team. He flat out sucks and as much as I don't care all that much that we lost Latu to waivers I would have kept him on the roster over Jenkins if I had to keep one.

This roster simply isn’t as talented as what we normally see. You can insult me or call me negative all you want. It just isn’t.

Quite a few posters have stepped through the roster position by position to show you that you are wrong. At the risk of redundancy here is that again.

QB - Hurts is Hurts and the fact that the OC is not going to ignore the value of Hurts as a runner makes 2026 better than 2025

RB is definitely better now than last year with Barkley fully rested and Bigsby with a full camp under his belt

LT - Mailata is Mailata and Bell is better depth

LG - Dickerson’s heath is equally bad in both seasons. Kendall and Lampkin are far superior depth when compared to 2024

C - Jurgens is healthy this year … wasn’t last year. Kendall and Lampkin are far superior depth when compared to 2024

RG - Steen is a year more experienced. He was a big question mark 12 months ago. Kendall and Lampkin are far superior depth when compared to 2024

RT - Lane is Lane for better and for worse. Bell is superior depth to what we had in 2024.

TE - is a position where I agree with you. Not as talented as in prior years.

WR - here too the talent of 2024 was superior, but the cancerous aspects of AJ probably offset that talent advantage. However, it is quite possible we may think differently in Week 18. WR is a wait and see position.

On Defense DE/OLB is more talented now than it was 12 months ago. As is DT. LB is a push. Safety is a push. CB is more talented at all three of the top CB roster slots and the depth was just as bad last year as it is this year.

Also, whoever designed the Flyers new alternate jersey for this year should be fired immediately. It might be the ugliest hockey jersey I have ever seen and to top it off they didn't even have the balls to put the liberty bell in the middle of the jersey which at least would have been something different.

So is Wicks WR2 or WR3?

You realize you are comparing an unhealthy December Lane in 2025 to a "healthy" August Lane in 2026.

This roster is not as settled as you say it is. You treat players like Wicks and Mundt as if they are good starters and you assume that Lane is just going to be Lane.

For Green Bay he was WR3 and as such his stats are comparable to other WR3s. For us he is WR2.

No, I am comparing a less than healthy Lane 12 months ago (just like Barkley was less than healthy 12 months ago) to Lane today.

No question. You dumped the other two and get a roster spot on top of it...even though Howie never would

Agree but Weru showed more than Mailata did his first TC. They may be stacked there but they have two expensive contracts coming and when you look at 4 TE and QBs he is the one I wish they protected.

It's way easier for a rugby player to transition to EDGE than to OL. It's easier to flash from that spot... see ball, tackle ball. Nothing a player does in rugby really aligns with the dancing bear job of an NFL LT. Mailata actually showed a lot that first TC, because when he came in to the games in the PS he wasn't a complete revolving door, not a major penalty machine. Meanwhile, when the LT does his job well, no one really notices unless you look closely trying to find out how he did.

Case in point: Without looking it up, can anyone tell me who started at LT in that last game? I'll give everyone a hint: it wasn't Fred Johnson, he started at RT.

Is that official? I like that one a lot. The grey one is one of the worst hockey jerseys I have ever seen.

Is it a hot take to say that Elijah Moore will end up being the team's 4th WR over Hollywood Brown and everyone's favorite pre-season star Darius Cooper.

@HazletonEagle only 18 days until Flyers training camp opens!!

This goes extremely hard, I might buy a blank one. Not sure i like anyone enough right now to get a player

Think 4, 5 and 6 is pretty fluid. Think we see all of them play at some point. Darius Cooper as your 6th receiver is pretty good depth.

Porter Martone bro, he's the real deal
