There is a lot of discourse now of Lurie and this organization's treatment of it's players in light of them potentially ending Hurts' career with their lack of extreme caution with such large investment, their Super Bowl winning franchise QB who is the highest paid player on the team, in the face of something as potentially serious as a blood clot.

I'm sure he's in good hands. Pickup a few extra shifts at 711 to help pay his rent

Don't worry about the sixers. Long season that will end in disappointment. Record some games and watch on your free time. Mestemaker and Mensah are worth watching

I wouldn't compare him to Haynesworth. He was a clown after he left Tenn. He needs to shed the injury prone title tho

He's not quite at Haynesworth's level yet but he's headed that way. Spitting on Dak was the kind of moron crap Haynesworth would do. He's gotta grow up and grow up quick.

I guess spitting on people is the new thing. Carter wasn't the first or last. Seems like it's happened quite a bit this year. Agree he needs to grow up. His interview the other day was a bad look

I like Mestemaker but I don't know what to think about Mensah yet.

I'm all for spitting but it has to be done at the right time and place, can't be a bonehead and get yourself kicked out of a pivotal game because of it. His interview was horrible, dude needs PR training. That or he just doesn't care.

I like Mensah. He's probably playing the best of any qb in the nation right now. Mestemaker looked really good against Oregon early in the year. I think that's what really put him on the map and he hasn't slowed down. Stock on Chambliss has seem to cool off a bit. Ugly game against Texas

Maybe Graham can give him some pointers

What would be your top 5 ranking at the moment?

Spitters are quitters, he needs to learn to just swallow. It will get him in way less trouble in the future.

Mestemaker

Mensah

Carr

Chambliss

Moore- it's a shame a dirty hit ended his season. He's done enough in his career to be in the top 5 imo

I am aware of those guys.

I have pretty much worked every single Saturday since college football started.

With that, and eagles games on Sunday, the rest of my weekend time is family time.

Unfortunately, we are short staffed and I dont know when the 6 day work weeks will stop coming.

Ill get around to it though.

I'm also interested in who will be available on round 2, 3, and 4.

I'm interested in finding out if any small school guys are capable of generating some buzz around senior bowl time of year.

My intrigue surrounding Sorsby will remain high considering the rumors.

I'm jk. I know there's not enough time in the day. Especially when you have kids. I'm also intrigued by Sorsby. I don't think he'll slide as far as some might think

Not a bad list. I'd like to see Carr against consistently tougher opponents. Dark Horse candidate to watch (I'm biased because I'm a kentucky fan), but check out Kenny Minchey. Very accurate passer, protects the ball and doesn't make stupid mistakes, and is sneaky mobile. He's more of a game manager type but the more reps he gets in Will Stein's offense, the better he looks. Gets some pro comps to Brock Purdy. Right now I'd have him as a day 3 pick but he may rise if Kentucky keeps winning and sneaks in to the CFP. But if he was still sitting there in the 5th round, I'd definitely scoop him up

Right.

If teams were possibly willing to use a 2nd rounder on him, then he's a 2nd rounder.

And if some of these other QBs disappoint in season, then he can rise just by not dealing with the prospect fatigue that happens. If some of these guys slip a little and Sorsby has a big combine week, he's going to make himself a lot of money to gamble with.

That's exactly the type of prospect I'll be looking for. I want to draft that kind of guy and use the premium picks for other needs.

Austin Simmons could pick up some steam before the year is over. I'm not crazy about Carr but I'll put him on the top 5. I think Chambliss could slide a bit because of his age. I think that's more of a media thing. Falcons took Penix when he came out. I'm sure there will be a guy that turns it on late to end the season and blows up the combine that could climb the board

Check him out. Guy is completing 70% of his passes in the SEC. He has ice water in his veins. Delivered the game winning plays in OT against South Carolina and LSU. Went to Texas A&M and put on a clinic as well. Very interesting prospect.

I'm not really sure what the Eagles should do this year in the draft. Idk if I'd take a QB high this year if I was them. Obviously they would be prime to draft one in 2028 as well with all those picks. I'm torn if they should build the roster as much as possible next year and then strike in 2028. I wouldn't mind a project guy though, you know QB factory and all.

The factory has definitely worked out thus far. Take your guy if he's there and then go back to what made this team successful. Build the trenches back up. Also please figure out the S spot. Mukuba is dog sheet
