September 13Sep 13 It'll still be a few weeks before we really know what we have here, but:Hurts had a "good" game. I like the throws over the middle. I liked some of the passes. Some dumb moments and some mistakes. OL is a large problem with that - most notably Dickerson and Jurgens.Defense looked good for most of the game until they got gassed.Some good, lots of bad. We'll see how we do week 2
September 13Sep 13 I thought the pass rush was better than the numbers indicated through 2 quarters but they definitely wore down in the 2nd half. What Commies OL is bad and that was inexcusable at the end. For their OL to outplay ours. Totally unacceptable. Greenard is needed, pass rush has to be better.

September 13Sep 13 I can see why they traded AJ. 8 catches by the Eagles WR's today. That is not a sustainable way to win games in the NFL.7 WR's so far this week have had as many or more catches than the entire Eagles WR group today. 5 WR's had more receiving yards than the entire Eagles WR group today. May as well trade Smitty for an offensive lineman if this is the offense we are going to run.

Edges were better in the 2nd half. They didnt all have it going at the same time.

September 13Sep 13 I don’t know how Wicks didn’t get one look in the second half after the first half he had. I’m expecting the offense to get off to a slow start so I’m not too alarmed, but it’s still boom or bust. If they’re not hitting a 50 yard play they’re going 3 and out. Hurts really had to save them a few times. I do think it’ll get to the point where they have to contemplate replacing Dickerson. He looked awful and after the season he had last year, that’s not encouraging.

Why didn't Mike McDaniel choose Carson Wentz and his 39 points off the bench? They may have scored 60 with McDaniel dialing up the offense.

Outside of Hurts and Goedert no one on offense won any matchups all day long.
