EMB Blog: 2026 Regular Season (Part 1)

Wicks had 2 receptions, 4 targets 77 yards and a TD and was not targeted after 6:27 remaining in the 2ND QUARTER.

I know we all wanted Smith to be more involved as well, but does anyone think it was a good idea to stop throwing to Wicks from mid way through the 2nd quarter all the way through the end of the game?

Think Mannion stopped calling plays for Wicks?

I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

You looked very close to the wall at the very top of the stadium. I was there once for MNF vs the Falcons when Barkley dropped the pass to lose the game.

I commend you for not going over.

The sun was literally on my head lol. There isn’t a bad seat in that stadium though. View was great outside of the tards standing up basically for the entire game in front of me 🤣

Fun fact: I had more receiving yards today than Lemon.

I’ve never seen a team block screens worse than the Eagles.

Statistically from a receiving yards standpoint that had to be the worst debut for a receiver ever.

yep. even as high as you can get, you still feel like you have a great view. Not as far away as youd think youd be all the way up there. Its a great stadium.

Lmfaooooo only dak could throw an INT on a throwaway

Hopefully Greenard is legit bec we need a stud edge. Hunt is alright, smith is a backup.

No worries I've already been burning sage all week.

LOL, were 8-5 against them but all the wins were in Philly. 0-3 in Tenn. We hadn't won in Cincy in decades so we broke that. I hope they can do it here. Tenn still has a good defense even if Ward is still raw right now. When they were the Oliers, we started the series 6 straight, but since then 2-5. That changes next week.

I really don’t know what to make of lemon. I wasn’t a much of a fan of his in college. Doesn’t seem special tbh

Must have really been painful tweet for Joshua Harris

Dallas defense still sucks 🤣

Well the so called "greatest offense there is" is getting shut down by the Gmen, interesting. lol.

Ravens offense looked good today with Doyle. The guy who turned down the Eagles job. Then again the Ravens offense also was really good the last two seasons whenever Lamar was healthy. Probably made the right choice as he’ll likely have head coaching opportunities.

Goedert later tweeted "using me but not using me."

For those that missed it

2 weeks ago Mannion didn't know if he would call plays from the sidelines or booth because he's never called plays.

Perspective.

I missed this earlier but since when the hell was this the rule? I’ve never seen a ball go backwards but reversed because the QB "intended” to throw it forward. This is a scary rule.

I saw it happen live and I didn’t understand it. That should’ve been a fumble and a touchdown for the Saints. That rule is now as dumb as the CFL having their rule where the guy just dropped the ball purposely, picked it up and got a first down.

So in theory, he could have actually been worse, but not by much

To be fair, the blocking bought him the -5. He bought himself 0.
