I would agree with you more if it hasn’t happened multiple times with a new kickoff rule. This is happening far more frequently at the end of halves with little time remain where they start at the 35, and then complete a 15-20 yard pass and kick a field goal.

I would add into this you have to know who your defense is. The Eagles defense, I trust a lot more than the Dallas Cowboys who have one of the worst defenses in the league to not give up that type of play.

Something similar could happen next year with Moro. He has been the Eagles best DT by a fairly wide margin. Davis needs to pick things up starting tomorrow and cCrter is definitely hindered by that cast.
