I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

My general feeling on all of it is the people read too much into early results. Obviously the talented teams are more likely to be there at the end but I don’t think the way teams play early on means much except for building up W’s for playoff position

I believe the lions are getting half their secondary back soon

I get the pass rush got to nix and it hit his arm, but I don’t even know why he was throwing over that way. Sutton was completely covered. It was either gonna be an incompletion or was gonna be picked over there too.

The NFL is weird this year.

In the AFC, the Chiefs are back. Not 2019-2023 back, but in the picture for sure. Buffalo is Buffalo. Baltimore is Baltimore. No one should really care for now. Patriots look to be falling hard into the SB hangover season.

NFC, outside the Eagles….Seahawks will be relevant despite what happened today. The Bears were a sexy pick, but they’ve gone off course. Not sure I’d be ready to count the Lions out, although it just feels like their needle is pointed down, especially on defense. The Rams are going to be good…they always are. But I don’t think they’ll be anywhere near the super team that was projected. Garrett will come back…he probably wont be his DMVP self (I’m not even sure he’ll be as good as Verse). SF looks their best right now…but I think this is all they’ve got and they are the team hitting on all cylinders early. I wouldn’t be surprised if both LA and Seattle round into a better form by the end of the year.

I’ve trained myself to disregard pretty much everything until about week 5, especially now since preseason is non-existent. None of it matters unless you put yourself in a horrible position. I can’t remember which Superbowl it was, but the Giants gave up a record breaking number of points in the first 2 weeks of the season, and I made fun of my Giants friends for about 4 months. Then they lucked their way a Superbowl because of their defense and the fact that Eli is so dumb he doesn’t feel pressure or stress.

It’s probably the angle, but Ertz looks like he needs a few cheesesteaks. Not sure he’d be able to block Matt McCoy at this weight.

That street fighter movie looks like it’s gonna be horrible and I wanna see it just to see how horrible it is.

Probably not good having a linebacker on Adams

What a play by the broncos defense!

And Stafford’s arm might be hurt

What a great game this turned out to be.

Stafford most career pick sixes in NFL history.

Stafford with a int and looks to hurt his hand a bit

If thr rams lose it’s such a rams way to lose…like they did last year in Philly

Another game I turned off bc I thought the team in control would win…first Dallas lol, now LA

Mumpfield is taking over.

Wow left that dude wide open

I feel like every time I watch the Broncos they have that moss corner getting burned or being called for a PI

Sometimes it’s a sign of things to come, sometimes it isn’t. It varies from team to team. Last year the Eagles looked like crap on offense early and did all year. In 2024 they had issues early but figured it out. I believe in evaluating week to week. I’m not big on the "wait and see where they are in December” that’s antithetical to why people watch sports.

Feels like Denver really needs to score a touchdown because if they don’t the Rams are gonna go down the field and kick a field goal win

Broncos are super fortunate that got called. Cause that wasn’t defensive inference.

Rams robbed. That was a great INT. No PI.

Rams got screwed and that was a great defensive play
