We were down a starting WR, RT, and TE and lost our RB, and had a 10 point lead. You take the points there 100% of the time.

They are not firing Mannion, at least not during the season but the Hurts-Sirianni combo will most certainly be broken up. Question is do they get rid of both or just 1 of them and keep the other.

I don’t know. I have way more confidence in special teams kicking a chip shot then I do the offense making absolutely any important play this game. They were horrible.

If you told me before kickoff that we’d lose a close game, I probably wouldn’t have been that annoyed. Then you watch it unfold and it’s beyond annoying.

The team is beat up so what can you do? It would just be nice to see the defense make a big play for once. We didn’t against Tennessee. We got bailed out against Washington with Diggs’ dumb penalty and a brain dead shovel pass to a blocking TE. The Bears punked us all night.

The game was in the defense late and they gave up two TDs. Make a friggin play to win the damn game. This was supposed to be a good defense.

Yeah I'm not understanding the thought process from anyone defending the defense for almost playing a complete game. Playing great for 3 and a half quarters and then surrendering 99 and 80 yard TD drives isn't anything to hang your hat on, it's called choking in almost all other contexts.

I would’ve taken the points. Go up 13. I know it feels like a failure because you went all the way down the field and you couldn’t punch it in.

That said I’m not even sure if they kicked that field goal they win this game. The defense gave up two touchdowns. I really don’t think it was because they were just deflated. I think it’s because they’re running out of gas late in the fourth quarter because the offense had literally done nothing up until that drive. Frankly, the offense wasn’t good in the first half either. They just got fortunate that they got a punt return into the red zone and interception by Dejean that took him deep into Rams territory. They had 100 total yards in the first half. Finished with 172 total yards.

What’s even worse is the season just started and we are already talking about next season.
