This isn’t a defense of Jalen, but who was getting open? The scheme certainly didn’t do it. We had a chance to eat clock and on a big third down we were counting on Zach Ertz to make a contested grab. There simply isn’t anyone or anything to to fear from a defense. The scheme isn’t good. The QB isn’t good. His supporting cast isn’t good.

WRs are open. we have seen that every week now.

Here's the thing - Hurts blows

His legs will continue to deteriorate and his game will be even worse than it already is. He's not built to stay in the pocket and fire away 30+ times a game. A backup plan or a replacement needs to be a priority

I had no problem with him calling three runs there because hurts and the offense was looking terrible. They never completed a third down all game throwing the ball.

Three runs to Shipley is a fail, not sure how in any way shape or form that would succeed. And walla, it did not. You can throw to Ertz, Cooper, Wicks... You don't give it to your third string RB that much when you're trying to ice the game. Major fail on Mannion there.

Hurts threw both those passes. I know it's easy for the neanderthal brain to just go right to the QB every time, but the Head Coach blew this game and most of his staff stinks.

We're getting embarrassingly out coached every game. That's why teams are killing us in the second half. Other coaches manage the game and adust and ours are monkeys f'ing a doorknob

Head coach deserves the blame as well. As does mannion. But this offense has struggled with 3 different OCs I just eventually have to go to the common denominator. And the year they had success barkley had a historic year.

The only reason the game was even close was the 2 turnovers forced by D + huge PR + phantom DPI on Rams + 1 amazing catch from Cooper + lots of Rams dropped passes.

We got a lot of good breaks which allowed us to hang in the game but without 3 top playmakers on O, and 2 of our best players on D, would have always been a miracle to pull this one out

Hurts was trash today. So was the run game in the first half. The play calling was atrocious. Not getting one third down conversion is abject failure as a play caller. Hurts was only part of that problem. They need to fire some of the trash offensive staff who are working on game plans.

I agree with this.

Its not semantics... The Eagles were winning the whole game should have been up 13.

Sorry who scored out touchdowns today? Magic?

The first TD catch by Cooper was pretty close to Magic, because it certainly wasn't a good pass by any stretch. It was late, it was short and it was a floater. All bad. The outcome not being a disaster was due to the defender's poorly timed jump and Cooper just not giving up on the play.

I'm not on the fire Mannion wagon yet. Guys are open on pass plays. The design is mostly there, his playcalling sucks because its his first time doing it. But hurts is not the QB for this offense, which sirianni should have recognize before he hired him but he's a Fing idiot so

Or… the eagles realize that they can’t get out from Hurts’ contract until after the 2027 season, which is why Howie was willing to accept a 2028 1st rounder from the Patriots, and the Eagles have already accepted that this is going to be a transition period.

2026 — Install new offense

2027 — rebuild the OL

2028 — use 2 firsts to acquire new QB

Waaah the QB isn't perfect

Stafford threw two picks and had a few more deflections that easily could have been picks. But you'll queeg over him because their coach isn't retarded

Stafford is a future HOFer and pushing 40. If you want to talk about passes that "could have been picked" he was a few drops away from putting up 400+ with a couple of TDs as well.

We’ve seen lemon open a ton the last 3 weeks. Problem is our bum qb is a one read qb who still cant read a defense to save his life. We need a new QB and HC.

Is that Aaron Donald fresh out of the Time Machine? That’s a lot attention…

Outcoached. Outplayed.

This team isn't hungry anymore.

We’ve neglected the OL for too long. Got a little lucky Kendall and maybe Bell are decent. No high round starting caliber types since 2022, and that was Jurgens who’s already cooked to a crisp.

Jamies Winston threw 3 TD's today, for an offense that scored 36 points. You are not making any point.

I remember going rounds last year with folks who argued Hurts was better than Josh Allen. I wonder where they are right now

0-for-12 on third down. Not one conversion all game. At some point you’d think we’d get one completely by accident. 😂

Sure, let’s do some math. So 8+8=16. If the Eagles score a TD on that play, they could go up 17. Is that more than 16, the max a team can score on two possessions?

Yes, it would be great to score a billion points and blow everyone out, and I'm usually right there with you on being aggressive. But for God's sake, we were up 10 in a slip fest of a game and half the team is injured--including the defense--and they didn't even start with a full roster.

Discretion is the better part of valor, and Sirianni just doesn't understand that. Apparently since he has nothing else to do, he thinks the way to add value is to just be brazenly and stupidly aggressive. It's meat head ish. He's a bottom 3 HC

This is where analytics is a fail. You see the game how it's unfolding, you need to cash in the points right there. Analytics doesn't take into account emotions and the feel of the game and his the offense has been abyssal. Siri was probably told by the weasel analytic dept to go for the TD.

Where do you think Hurts is headed if he plays another 5-6 seasons? You'll be furious if he gets in

If you’re not a gambling man/woman, stop being a ****ot. Start betting the under on Eagles points in the 2nd half bc it has hit 95% of the time since the beginning of last season. Vegas is not inside that locker room at halftime when they make zero adjustments and get completely outcoached in the 2nd half.

This season is setting him back big time from that goal.

I actually have less problem with them going for it then the three points. Yeah, I would’ve put them up 13, but if the Eagles defense is just gonna let them go down to score 2 touchdowns great you’re gonna lose by one point instead of losing by four. Add on like he said it forced the Rams to have to go 98 yards to get a touchdown.

That said, I hated the play call on fourth now. also come up with some creativity like the rams did with nacua.

So is this the week we finally lose Jurgens and Campbell? What happens with LD in a week when he comes off IR? Better not even think of plugging him back in. Eagles gotta take a huge look in the mirror and at least try to stop the bleeding with these recurring issues through 1 month here. And stop worrying about contracts and draft statuses and just play the best people for each given job.
