October 4Oct 4 It is true that the defense blew it at the end but this has been the same story for the 2+ seasons. Offense does bare minimum, wins require the defense to hold at the end. How about the offense step up and win for a change? They were missing key guys? Ok, the Bears last week were playing their 3rd string QB. They pummeled the Eagles.This relationship is one sided. It's like a couple where they're supposed to contribute equally to pay the bills and one person always ends up having to pay every bill every month and one month they are a little irresponsible with the money so the bills can't get paid. How about just once the other person does their job just once and pays a Fing bill for a change?I'm not saying I expected the Eagles to drop 40 points, but they had to do more than they did. And they sucked last week when they were healthy so it's not just injuries. This offense just Fing blows and people are tired of it and they have not earned the grace that the defense has when it's trying to figure itself out right now. They've more than done their share going back years now.

People negging on him because its his O need to move onto more pertinent points. Lurie and Howie took that ball away from him- but as HC,overall standards need to increase.The QB not throwing for100 yards is a massive red flag. 3rd down is abysmal. Tackling is inconsistent. The roster construction is odd. The running game is everywhere and not in a good way. Etc etc

October 4Oct 4 Figured Eagles lose this game in heart breaking fashion. Man, got my hopes up that they could finagle a win under terrible circumstances. Good coaching wins you that game. I will leave that as the number 1 reason we lost. There are many many more of course. Had a lot of new guys step up and play well. But losing Q was gonna hurt. That may have been the turning point for me. Bad CB depth reared it's ugly head. Jones missed the easiest INT I've ever seen, that would have iced the game. If you have an Isaiah Rodgers type maybe we win this one. Got no one. Anyway...

The ravens managed to have an attempt at an onside kick because the defense just let them go down the field in like a minute and a half. even that divisional game against the rams was way closer than what it had to be because the defense down the stretch of that game looked abysmal until finally Carter made a play. Heck if he’s not able to make that play, they had a wide open touchdown on that play. This has been a theme for a while that they are not good at the end of halves.As for the offense, their third quarters are just abysmal. I don’t know how you have 10 plays and you only get 19 yards. I watch teams that are worse than the Eagles managed to get 10 plays and go more than 19 yards in three different series. Like the Titans are awful. yet today the Titans managed to move the ball better than the Eagles. I don’t care who was out. The Titans are an awful team. Yet the eagles managing to make their offense look at least competent comparatively to ours.

The scheme certainly didn’t do it. We had a chance to eat clock and on a big third down we were counting on Zach Ertz to make a contested grab. There simply isn’t anyone or anything to to fear from a defense. The scheme isn’t good. The QB isn’t good. His supporting cast isn’t good.

October 4Oct 4 Well that was a disappointment - losing that way. But not entirely unexpected - team was so banged up today. I expected a total beatdown, and instead we at least got a competitive game . We got a lot better effort than last week.But if we think picture - this O has been putrid all year and wasn't going to figure it out once it got down the top-3 playmakers. D can play good for stretches of the game but gets gassed and can't play the full 4Q - its not at the same level of years past. Siri is making a bunch of dumb calls. Hurts has been inconsistent at best. O line is now average to bad. We just need to just face it - the Eagles are no longer in that top-tier category. No one is scared to play this version of the team.

I know it's easy for the neanderthal brain to just go right to the QB every time, but the Head Coach blew this game and most of his staff stinks. We're getting embarrassingly out coached every game.
