I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

Cop out tired of hearing injuries are the reason.

Offense just sucks period. It has for years.

Well, that's what happens when the offense isn't being used because you sit around and wait for people to come wide ass open half the time rather than throwing the ball when you're supposed to. Because that's basically the same as not having an offense at all.

yup..as much as I like the D...I have a feeling Vic would have called off the pressure in that situation and stuck with a sticks D...even though Lawrence was struggling with pressure...definitely a realistic chance for Hunter

Lemon not going down inbounds on his catch on 2nd down was lowkey a huge moment. Jaguars are then able to save their final timeout for the 3rd down run to even give them time for a kick return instead of the Eagles being able to run that clock down until a few seconds before they attempted the FG.

Um. That still requires him being somehow brought TO big games though. Like, couldn't you say the exact same thing about Eli Manning? And I'm pretty sure all us EMBers trashed him TERRIBLY.

I say all the time that Hurts is Eli. No one in here was calling him elite when he was playing

If you can try to find a better alternative - you take it. If it works, great. If it doesn't, you keep trying.

Refusing to try because it might not work out is dumb

It's nice to just say get someone else. I did it for years. They are lucky to have him even with those limitations. The guy has proven twice he can win a SB against the best QB in the league while people like Josh and Joe have been his **** for years.

Eh he was okay I guess. Mitchell was good I guess. Offense and coaching was horrendous again.

Sirianni is a moron for many reasons, but the guy catches strays that should be pointed at others constantly.

Sirianni is a dumass

So what are the Hurts excuses for today?

3rd string Guards and center,2nd string RT, 4th string RB, and coach Sirianni making dumb coaching decisions. I'm OK with Jalen stayng or going, so no attachment to him, but today he led us to victory only to have his coach make a very stupid kick off decision. Everyone, literally everyone knew the play was to kick it out of the endzone as Jacksonville had no timeouts. What a stupid decision.

After how many 3 and outs from Hurts?

How many, penalties, free rushers, no running game, several poor snaps on key downs all inside our own 20? Dude led us to the win against one of the best defenses in the league with bottom of the roster/practice squad O line and RB. This is all you got? Hang it up for the day and start making "Fire Sirianni" signs to hold outside the entrance to the practice complex.

Jack Jones just needs to not take him to the ground and we win.

But also like… this is the worst prepared team I’ve ever seen in every area of the game. 3 straight choke jobs

What time????? How do you know people were open on those downs? Yeah, he threw behind DG on that pass and DG dropped it on the other drive. Ask yourself why Wicks was that open?

Wicks faked out the CB with a quick move and got open. Your boy overthrew him. That oline was giving him time

You guard the sidelines and force a throw to the middle. Very simple.

I would also add to this, if they don’t get the 15+ yards on the first play, then they’re gonna have to get more yards and it’s game over on the second play unless some miracle penalty or diggs miracle type of thing.

Fangio has to want to run a semi truck through Sirianni and Mannion.

Do you trust your defense or your ST unit? It really comes down to that.

Let’s see. Your #1 WR is out, your #1 TE is in and out of the game, your top 3 RBs are all out, your down 3 starting OLine, a 4th OL starter misses big chunks of the game, and your on your 4th string C and your top interior reserve is out. Nah, injuries had nothing to do with the lack of output from the O.

A good head coach navigates the last 2 weeks and wins both games with leads in the 4th Q against teams who look disinterested in winning. Besides that, if you do let them return it, special teams is the one single reason they lost this game. Came down to one play and they choked.
