Friday at 12:54 AM2 days Broncos were converting easy as hell on that drive. Why is it so hard for us?

I think even for NFL teams, its a stretch to believe they are ultrasounding each bruise they see.The proof would be important here.Lets say Hurts got cleated in the London game. If we KNOW its not safe to fly because the flight can exacerbate, then teams are going to have to get used to leaving players behind for...who knows how long?Which seems ridiculous. Also brings me back to the world cup question. Im sure tons of those players got cleated and flew halfway around the world to get home from the tournament. If it was known to exacerbate... then that shouldnt/wouldnt be happening, would it?Thanks for the timelines. I had no idea.I would guess the laymen terms would be different for propagation where theyd say it grew instead of, it moved. But you never know how the reporters are going to translate the medical terms they hear. It’s so rare for garden variety calf contusions in athletes to progress to this. Now…a typical contusion will have tiny superficial intravascular clots. It gets called thrombophlebitis when it’s visible on ultrasound and progresses to the observable clinical syndrome with pain, redness, swelling. It’s not unheard of with athletes, but you really dont hear about it often. So ultrasounding everyone that gets cleated isn’t reasonable…plus, it usually develops in a delayed fashion after the injury as clots propagate due to bleeding and inflammation. So someone really needs to have the clinical suspicion first…it’s not really a reflexive text for an on-field injury like an x-ray. An injury and a flight 2 days later…he probably didn’t even have it at the time.Alternate scenario: he had the injury in the LAR game, developed progressive swelling and soreness…managed as a calf contusion and they were a little late on the draw to get the ultrasound and figure it out. Probably unlikely. More likely than not it’s something that might have even gone undiagnosed in a regular person and they caught a minor case because he’s under a microscope.

If he wants to be an idiot and ruin the rest of his life, so be it. The guy is already trying experimental treatments for a degenerative issue, he's done. Jurgens is in the same boat, his back is F'ed, at least he's wasting a roster spot on another team nowSpare me the dramatics. The world is already supposed to be over because of global warming. Our season was supposedly over when Wentz got hurt in 2017. If LD decides to continue his football career for 3 more seasons, he won't be in a wheelchair. I have no way of knowing today whether he will be able to play at his previously high level again. But if a team wants him on their roster as a starter or as a backup, the choice to keep playing is his. Let me know when a doctor is telling him to, "get out or else." Until then, you are just being pretentious and making absurd claims. His coming back is perfectly fine. If a younger guy outplays him, that guy should get the starting role. Let the team sort that out through competition in practice and on the field. Dickerson is a grown man and he can make his own career decisions.

That can be debated. Can he play again at an acceptable level? Also can be debated. Smart money is on no simply because of what’s happened the last year and change. Can he play at his previous high level? Absolutely not.

His coming back just F's everything up because he's going come in, suck and inevitably get hurt again, and then we're back to inconsistency on the line. Keep what we have now, put him on IR and let spme other team deal with it next year if he's too prideful to retire
Friday at 01:17 AM2 days The Hurts hating in here is ignorant and insensitive to a guy who has a blood clot that has worsened and shelved him. It's classless, but I shouldn't expect anything differently.Okay, regarding this weekend. Will take an early stab at it...Eagles need this game and are in desperation mode. Think the defense has been slowly, but surely coming back. Expect the next stage in comeuppance here, with a healthier JC and more Trotter snaps this week. Greenard should come back and cover the Hunt injury and actually be a noticeable contributor. Moore should be a stabilizer back there at safety in regards to filling in for the M.Carter injury. On offense, I expect we get that backup boost from McKee and he does a solid job, but nothing spectacular. Another week of Goedert and Devanta back (and actually together at same time) will do wonders here. The O-line hopefully gets Kendall back. And who knows, maybe Dickerson gets involved here and buttresses the running game and having the Tush Push back in the play book. Feel McKee and Cooper will be a go to tandem here in this game with their prior rapport. At RB, I see Steele getting his 1st snaps and providing a spark when he's in there. So with all of that said. The line is talking to me. Eagles cover and actually win this one in a season saver to keep all of our hopes alive. FOR NOW. 1 week at a time....Panthers-17Eagles-24Cooper 1 TDSmith 1 TDHollywood Brown with a bomb.*Hope Matt's okay....

Friday at 01:20 AM2 days The wrinkle is…the Eagles last 4 games are very difficult. Seattle, Houston, SF, at Giants (and probably not a cupcake with how things are going). They are going to have to start banking wins now. It impacts how conservative they can be with all these week-to-week injuries. If they had a soft schedule down the stretch and powerhouses now, it would be tempting to just schedule some losses and get guys healthy.

There's no way in hell Hurts says yes to the ChargersNFL is different than other sports with guaranteed contracts. If it ever came out he’s not the guy anymore and they aren’t giving him a new contract, it’s more than likely he’ll go to a team that shows they want him.
