You're assuming he stays healthy the rest of the season when he comes back? At this rate he'll play maybe 8 games. Awful trade

Awful? Getting hurt doesn't make it awful. Furthermore, if the trade hadn't been made the talk would be how awful it was he didn't trade for a DE. Interestingly, all 3 of the big DE trades are injured: Grennard, Hendrickson, and Garrett.

#1 ranked Miami inbound.

I have a feeling they get jumped by OSU and/or BYU. Both were the reason other top 10 teams loss while miami took multiple overtimes to win against an unranked team and were aided by the refs, again.

Not sure how making fun of an obvious troll on a message board makes you a terrible human.

Coen not looking great on the CEO game decision front.

Going to need that play for Goedert today.

It's amazing what can happen when the QB understands where the hot route is on a blitz.

Chad QBs know when the blitzes are coming before even breaking the huddle. People don't know ball like you do, man.

Cut Hurts tomorrow and tank every season until we can find a QB good enough to win the big one.

Overly dramatic much? It is a skill Hurts does not have. If he added that skill, he would be a better QB, which is what I want.

The Mormon Missile is gonna make this offense look better than Hurts did.

sensible.

thats frowned upon.

What skill is that, exactly?

The ability to not run the offense that he's being told to run?

Please point out all of these "hot routes" that Hurts is missing.

dramatic, sarcastic, hyperbolic strawman. So hot right now!

Heard that he has a lot more gun experience than under center experience historically. Wonder if that relates to some of the troubles we've seen early in the season.

I'm just curious, is the design of the offense also to avoid throwing on time whenever possible? Or is that just a coincidental addition?

Basically that is the assumption with every player we expect a good season from. Inevitably, injuries happen to some players during the season. I dont see why we blame him any more than anyone else. When he gets on the field, his impact will be felt. I dont see any reason to assume he wont be able to play the majority of any season he is here for.

Probably because he was riddled with injuries in Minnesota before he was traded here

I'm not being dramatic, I'm on your side!

All I'm saying is that when the team can't run, can't block, and runs a stupid scheme with stupid personnel the QB should rise above it all and lead the team to glory each and every week.

No one gets it.

I really thought T law was going to be better. He seemed like the type of QB that could fit the old school role but he just turns the ball over way to much

Do you know what a hot route is?

"On time" is for losers. I want a QB who's throwing it ahead of time.

I don't want to hear any excuses about unblocked defenders or pressure on over 50% of the drop backs. The QB should be able to account for all of that, easily.

It's not a team game, it's a heroes game and that's what we need

You are being overly dramatic. There are things QB's can do to mitigate the issues around him, and beat a blitz. Hurts does not do any of these things. I will say something nice about Hurts so maybe we can engage in an adult conversation. He throws a nice deep ball.

Does Nick?

One thing is for sure, Hurts doesn't. He's never even heard of that. Hes yet to play any big time football where that may have come up.

He was there for 2 years. He played all 17 games his first year, and then had the pec injury last year after playing in 12.

Yes, his injury last year was severe. I dont think thats the case throughout his career. He had one other year in Houston where he only played 8 games. But he also played 13, 13, and 15 there.

I see him as equal in reliability to Goedert. He will likely miss about 3-4 games a year. If he is elite in the time he is on the field, I can live with that. Greenard is still looking elite.

You might think your eyes will deceive you today when the QB throws with anticipation, to a spot where the receiver will be getting to by the time the ball gets there. I know you are use to seeing the QB waiting for the receiver to get wide open and perform jumping jacks to get his attention. You may also see the him scan to read 2 or 3 as well. Crazy stuff.

Right. The guys constantly crying about Hurts aren't the dramatic ones, it's me.

You guys literally think Nick is scheming up all these hot routes and sight adjustments and Hurts is just ignoring them because reasons.

We better see McKee hit like 15 hot routes today, or I'm good to start believing that maybe the coaches are morons

You are incapable of having an adult discussion about it. This answer clearly shows you do not know what a hot route is.
