I know you are use to seeing the QB waiting for the receiver to get wide open and perform jumping jacks to get his attention. You may also see the him scan to read 2 or 3 as well. Crazy stuff.Lol Hurts has literally carried this garbage offense but it's never good enough.McKee is lucky he'll at least have some starters back today. He wouldn't have made it through the Jags game healthy

Offensive line played well enough last week.

The guys constantly crying about Hurts aren't the dramatic ones, it's me.You guys literally think Nick is scheming up all these hot routes and sight adjustments and Hurts is just ignoring them because reasons. We better see McKee hit like 15 hot routes today, or I'm good to start believing that maybe the coaches are moronsLikely the gameplan was done. Practices for the week had already begun, prior to finding out "it moved". Im hopeful McKee looks good today because he has been a backup QB for years now and this is the life of a backup QB. Logically, however, next week's gameplan can include much more things that are geared to McKee's strengths (which Hurts possesses none of), and the offense can look pretty different in a weeks time.

Fly Eagles Fly!

Are these McXcuses already? He better look great today.

I want to win. However, any rational person understands that whether he looks good or bad today, he should look better next week. And if/when he does not, then we can all really get on his case at that point.

Hes yet to play any big time football where that may have come up.For most of his career Kelce /Jurgens would set the line protections and I believe Jalen was coached to trust that the blitz would be picked up or if not run. Why miss out on the chance for a chunk play when you get telegraphed 1v1 coverage on AJ or Smitty, right? We’ve been talking about hots for YEARS, but the play just seems to proceed as called for acceptable results on average.Whole new ballgame nowadays…

The golden era of QBs is becoming a fleeting memory. This is also why you have to wait and see how the year progresses before we declare this a ‘deep and great class’.I don't know what the class will turn into but as of now I'm not using a high number one on a QB vs and edge, CB, etc.I haven't been defending Hurts because I suddenly think he is elite. He isn't, but a rookie isn't going to be a better option the next few years. Nobody in FA will be better and trading for a guy like Herbert is stupid. Same for Burrow when he just decided he doesn't want to retire early.Even with their flaws the Eagles have talent. They need one or two guards and a TE. That's doable in one offseason. Build a better line around Hurts and we've seen that he can win, which is a lot more that can be said for many "talented" QBs in the league. We are spoiled in some ways and don't realize what we have but the grass isn't always greener.A lot of teams have used high picks in the last 5 years and don't have what we do.
1 hour ago1 hr I fully expect McKee to have a firm grasp of the offense by now. The only thing that concerns me is whether not he got his mechanics fixed to stop sailing passes as he did in his previous few performances. The truth is that today, much of the offense he is running will be the dumbed down version of Mannion's offense that was stripped of any creativity for Jalen Hurts' lack of processing power. Maybe with 2 practices for McKee, they were able to throw some things back in but I dont expect much. Game plan was done.Next week is when the "evil genius" stuff can really return in full force.

He's doing what the coaches want, but they suck and are routinely getting out coached.

And his arm isn’t strong enough for a lot of throws.

1 hour ago1 hr Just now, Khani1 said:His fastest release time is still slow. Dude processes in slow motion. And his arm isn’t strong enough for a lot of throws. It's slow because our OL has been bottom 3 in the NFL. We can't run a play action. We can't run anything.

Is it OK to root for both McKee and Hurts? Many of you act as if cheering on both of them is the same as saying you’re an Eagles and Cowboys fan
