If he said he was trying to bring Vision back then I bet she would be all for that Remember, he referred to vision as a weapon. If she brought him back to life, Hayward isn't going to say "I knew you could do it, see you two at the Xmas party. Now both you go on home!"
February 28, 20214 yr Funny how we're not singing about Agatha now. Story writers are geniuses. Suckered us in with we knew it was her the whole time! and then punched us square in the face with who Agatha really is.
February 28, 20214 yr I'm kind of annoyed with the length of these episodes. Plus the 7 minutes of credits is insane

I have to say I've really enjoyed this series but a lot of it has gone over my head. Like I get it but without having read the comics etc I feel like some of the unveilings lack punch.

Probably going to need to re-watch it since it's one of those shows that something was obvious but hidden from the audience There's a lot of things that they just wont be able to answer in the finale. Probably going to answer some and then leave off a big cliff hanger to get you to watch the new Dr Strange
February 28, 20214 yr Author By the way, we are now 8 episodes into a marvel show without a single major action set piece. Almost like Marvel wanted to prove it could put out a quality story without huge fights, explosions, set pieces etc. I’m sure we’ll get something in this last episode but we’re about 4 hours in and no major fights.
March 1, 20214 yr My assumption is the credits are long because this isn't a normal TV show, the production team seems to be as big as a movie production. Also, I believe Safety is correct that the reason Hayward lied to the others is because he wants Vision as a weapon and obviously Monica and the gang would not be down with that. So he has to make wanda look unhinged and dangerous so they would continue to help him.

Hayward is the director of sword, which is kinda like the new shield. Hayward tries to make a vision weapon, which is against the will of vision and presumably against what sword stands for morally. Hayward gets defeated in the end and then the surprise cameo shows up and assumes the director position sword, Nick Fury....

March 1, 20214 yr what if this is actually ultron and hayward has been a pawn all along ? also, they did change the origin storyline of agatha a bit compared to what i remember from the comics. if you read them you know what happens eventually. only question is how they will tell it in the series.

March 1, 20214 yr Author I loved James Spader as Ultron and would like to see them bring him back. My only problem was I felt they made him a little too quippy. Let him be more menacing like that first introductory scene and I’m all in!

One more thing to consider, Woo points out that trying to reanimate Vision is in violation of the Sokovia Accords, meaning what Hayward is doing is also in violation of US and International Law. So unless their is a Shield and Sword exception, Hayward and his team are conducting illegal experimentation on Vision.
March 1, 20214 yr I've really enjoyed this series but... I feel like you need a good level of comic book knowledge for some of this series to truly have an impact?
March 1, 20214 yr How did S.W.O.R.D. get Visions body anyway? Last we saw was he was dead/offline in Wakanda. Don't see them just letting the organization in like that

I think some of the easter eggs definitely require comic knowledge, but overall I think if you've seen every movie since the maximoffs were introduced that's plenty to enjoy and understand the series.

Don't see them just letting the organization in like that My guess is the surviving avengers brought his body back to avengers compound at which point SWORD collected it. Since Vision signed the accords, and presumably sword is under the accords, they probably had a claim to recover it. Probably under the claim of protecting it.

Though who really knows the ins and outs of the accords.... well other than Jimmy Woo who seems to have it memorized.

Wakanda had their own business to deal with. Why would they object to a dead android from outside Wakanda being taken by Captain America and the Avengers?
