well, i'm not a scientist or doctor & wouldn't have access to the samples, data, etc. even if i were. any "research" i did on my own would ultimately rely on the opinions of others.  saying "research it yourself" seems like an easy way of denying just about anything. normal people can't do hands on research like that.

When it comes to the Moon landing, 9/11, and FE, you don't have to be a scientist to come to the conclusion that you've been lied to, all you need to do is open your eyes, believe what you see, and use your common sense if you have any.

For one example of each, look at the film footage on the Moon, you see shadows going in every which direction, that wouldn't happen if the Sun was the only source of light as he nasholes proclaim, look at the destruction of the towers, you see steel beams being hurled outward, that wouldn't be the case if it was a gradational collapse, for FE, look at the time lapse photos of the starts circling Polaris, you wouldn't see that if Earth were moving at the various speeds and directions as reported.

The idea that "normal people" can't do research is exactly what they want you to think, we have brains just as they do......I mean, you do have a brain don't you?

you believe in all those conspiracy theories?  all of them?

your "research" is choosing to believe what other loons tell you rather than what actual experts tell you. your brain can't comprehend science so you form opinions based on pictures/videos that some uneducated, attention seeking nutbags on youtube misinterpreted.

you're just like those q'anon incels & kooks who are such outcasts that they cook up crazy scenarios to make themselves feel better about their lot in life.

I don't specifically remember, but I think that was talked about and most people didn't want it. @Moderator12 might remember if my thought on that is correct or not.

A combination of people not liking it plus there was a concern of people ganging up on a poster they disagree with and mass disliking them.  The latter is similar to that fiasco when the NFL had the bright idea to merge all the boards into a single platform (but separated by site).  Clearly not understanding MB culture, they were going to have it almost "self moderate" allowing users to vote down threads (and maybe posts?) with a certain % causing the thread to be removed.  We pointed out that this would result in almost no content. As for here, we do enough to rip into each other, another method to do that seems superfluous.

That phone call with "the NFL" (I forgot what their tech rep guy's actual job was with them) was fun.  It consisted of 5, 10 and myself just ripping into them for an hour and a half poking holes into every feature they brought up.  My favorite was the centralized user database.  Sure, we were planned to be in the first batch of forums to be converted over so I could keep my name, but what about all the other Moderator12's out there???  They'd have to change their names!

He doesn't... he just says them. The main tactic of the conspiracy moron is to set a whole bunch of little fires and bait people into running around putting them out one by one. This is why you should never indulge their fantasies that they are independent rational thinkers by countering their arguments with reality. Like I said before, you could literally take him to the moon in a spacecraft and the next phase of the "debate" will consist of him asking you to prove that the whole adventure wasn't a trick. It will get tied into some other conspiracy too. The CIA, NASA, and the Alien lizard people reverse-engineered technology recovered in the Roswell crash to create a hyper-realistic simulator all to make @EagleVA - one sad, emotionally isolated, cognitively disabled troll lose face on a sparsely populated football message board. This is actually what passes as critical thinking in his mind. It's fascinating.

No joke - I'll give a $20 Amazon gift card (EagleVa, no, you can't collect) to anyone that can point me to other forums where he actually discusses these things with other "believers". I lurk on some FE boards to gather data. He's gotta be on reddit, parler, or something. I figured some of you from the "old board" might know his other haunts. No doxxing, I just need more snippets for the study we're doing - it would be nice no trace where some of his weird trains of thought originate.

Thread was deleted, but here he was talking about vaccines.

You can send my $20 to @VaBeach_Eagle to keep the board running.  Its fan funded now.  And don't forget to use the affiliate links, such as Amazon, fanatics and more!, when doing your online shopping.

Actual experts dispute the 9/11, Moon landing, and FE information that's been presented by your federal government but you wouldn't know about that because you like most others won't put in the time to hear what they have to say.

As far as me comprehending science, I have a Mathematics/Computer science degree that included 4 semesters of calculus, 2 semesters of physics, probability, modern algebra and many other technical courses, I also have a masters degree Computer Systems Management, if you know anything about masters programs, they involve self research of topics.  Point being, I'm not an uneducated high school graduate that doesn't have a clue concerning technical/scientific topics.

That also goes back to the old board. I don’t recall how it started originally, but I believe there were some inappropriate pics that had to be cleaned up at first. The name was eventually changed to The Moderator 5 approved boob thread. When this board opened up, I opened the new thread and kept Mod 5’s name in there just for fun.

Break free, mr. hunt. Don't be just another sheep following the herd. You can pretend to be special as well. You too can make a fool of yourself, embarass your family, and stubbornly take ridiculous notions to your grave. All you have to do is watch a couple of youtube videos. Come to the light!

I DID SOME RESEARCH!!!!

@EagleVA :  Why is it that the flat earth theory needs a different model for every phenomenon, where as a heliocentric model explains everything without exception?

If you fancy yourself a free thinker, why do you just flat out ignore questions about your position instead of engage in a conversation to make your case?

I don't accept "they stupid" as an answer.  There are plenty of intelligent folk who went down this path.  But they all seem to behave in the same way: Dismissive to anything to the contrary.

Just my opinion, but I think with Va and others, it’s such a disdain for the government or authority figures in general that he and they allow themselves to be consumed with taking contrarian positions no matter what they get told. If Trump or Biden ever came out publicly endorsing Rice Krispie treats, they would be the first to tell us Snap,  Crackle, and Pop are Satan’s creations sent to lead us astray.

The so-called "majority of scientific experts" are government officials that have no scientific background at all.......AT ALL!!

For 9/11, thousands of architects and engineers signed a petition saying that what the government officials presented are lies.

For the Moon landing, professional photographers pointed out the lies.

For FE, you have many professionals from various disciplines that refute many aspects of heliocentrism.

The experts that refute the 9/11, Moon landing and FE have nothing to gain by doing so, as far as the non-scientific government officials, you either go along with the narrative or lose your job.

You guys have got to use your brains.....but you don't, you ask no question and believe any and everything you're told by the "authorities", it truly is a damn shame.

Tell me, do you believe we're remote controlling a rover located on Mars?
