No I wanted us to leave.  Im just apparently the only one who understands that we had to engage with the Taliban to do so.  We had to negotiate with them, there was no other way to leave the country.  Biden found that out

No, there was absolutely nothing to negotiate.  You don't negotiate with terrorists, period.  And Trump made a huge mistake in negotiating the release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners.  What a dumb idea that was.   

Where Biden failed was having our military leave before we got all of the civilian operation side out.  That was an incredibly dumb decision.  The military has to be the last group to leave.

How could we have evacuated an entire country without them knowing?

Ok, so "we leave when we want" is a drastic oversimplification.

My overall point is that if we hadnt negotiated with them, it would have ended up much worse.  They would have been shooting at every helicopter that left.
