I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

At this point, it is one of the elite receivers or corners for me, or it is a fail.  Assuming Sewell is long gone too.

If they take Slater, or Paye, or anyone else at 12, when they had the 6th pick, it's a bad beat.  They better hope Miami is not that good next year, and Carson plays 75% of the snaps.

Of course, the ultimate victory we need is regime change before all of these draft assets in the 2022 draft are squandered.... that would matter more than whatever the clowns end up screwing up this year.

If you don't want to know ahead of time and people do why don't you just not log in?

I don't plan to.  But waiting for it actually to be announced seems like a small ask when all you're "losing" out on is posting something you saw on Twitter a minute earlier.  But if it makes you feel better about yourself to post something a minute earlier, go nuts and then seek professional help.

Breer has Paye going 11 to the Giants and says the Eagles have talked about moving in front of Dallas for a corner.

I don't think the Eagles value CB nearly as much as people think they do

If you like Sewell, I don’t see how it’s a fail if they take Slater. Seems to me a lot of smart people have Slater as good or better than Sewell.

You just described Jeremy Bloom.

People complain about the NFCE getting all the prime-time games, but the fan bases are the most passionate, and largest, in the NFL.

Lot to do with how good the team is , and if they have any marquee players , Bucs never seen prime time , had a handful last year , Brady has that kind of weight , now super bowl champs , I’m guessing them and KC will lead the league in prime time games this season .

I think people (me) have said for awhile now that 2002 was the last time they drafted a CB in the first round.  They moved back from #6 to 12 to get right into value position for one of the CB — so DL will end up being the pick.

terrible sack record in college. athletic smart guy in college should be able to get to the qb. idk you might be right but I don't think so.

Well, Barnett had an all-world sack record in college, and no one liked that pick either. Maybe Howie is trying the opposite approach

Here is a nice Yeboah highlight tape.  Great blocking, field stretching, route running.  He's 6-4 250.  80" wingspan compared to Kyle Pitts 83" wingspan.  They actually have the same arm length give or take a 1/4 inch.  He isn't the elite athlete that Kyle Pitts is but he's a darn good athlete to be an NFL tight end.

Lots of drops

I think the Bengals take Sewell, although getting Burrow a pass catcher that he knows well has to be intriguing for them

I'm really really starting to like doubling up on the Jr's at CB. Whether Surtain/Horn plus Samuel. Samuel could play inside or outside, swiss army knife for Gannon's secondary. And he doesn't play the run like his old man either, which is a positive.

If that is true, that's great... my concern was other reports that led me to believe he would be a solid starting interior OL.   Taking an OL that high, I want a stud tackle, or if they play inside someone like Brandon Brooks that really impacts the game.

The Eagles roster is so depleted, I'm really looking for difference makers at any position first and foremost.

I really hope someone at #6 or 7 (or 8-11) loves Devonta Smith and doesn’t leave Howie with that decision to make — although I’d take Smith 100 times before I’d take Paye

Here's a real nightmare scenario. What if Howie trades ahead of the Giants because he is afraid that the Giants will get Paye and he burns up an additional 3rd rounder to do it?  That would be the ultimate  Howie screw up and not out of the realm of possibility.

What if Pitts and Chase are sitting there and he trades up for Paye?  That would be the even MORE Howie thing to do.

I'm preparing myself for the absolute worst.

i think they will wager they can get OT help in the second in a deep tackle draft like Eichenburg from ND

I like this approach as well.

I'd be happy with Horn at 12, but I've noted that he is the only one of those viable guys ever available in that mock at 12, and sometimes he is not even there.

Eagles really need another QB hungry team to trade up into 7-8-9, and for Gettleman to go with a lineman of some type (which, in actuality he probably should).

Furthest college throw ever recorded by pff , was thrown by Feliepe Franks .

I didn’t know that

You might be right. I guess it comes down to... Who can have a greater impact Slater / Sewell or Chase / Pitts.

Stop it. Just stop it. Why do you want to hurt us?

Seems like most analysts like him more than we do.

I just don't like the lack of production. 11 career sacks in college?

You let him play edge the majority of time and he will produce , he never had a home , lined up everywhere
