I think Toney's issue is his tweener status.   He looks like a 3-4 OLB guy.

He does look that way, but I want some fastballs to complement our stronger types. And we just drafted an undersized one in Tarron. Wish it was Toney. Would still take him and let those two compete. People think he is undersized yet he just kept outplaying the far more touted prospects playing opposite him and earned 0 credit for it.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I need one of Trey Smith or Forsythe. Come on Howie, make it happen.

I think I heard somewhere that Tom Brady was drafted with the 199th pick in the 6th round.  Can someone verify?

Trading a future 6 for a future 5 is just good process.

We all disliked having to trade up for Smith, but that was the cost of getting a Tier 1 player in this draft.

"Gotta get your guy.”

Jackson has about 20+ lbs on Toney.

As hard as it is to believe, it's totally true.

He's 231 lbs. so a switch to LB'er is in order. That transition is a challenging so he might go in the 7th or be a priority UDFA. We'll see.

ESPN shows 242. If he is 240+ you put him out there on 3rd downs and let him do his thing.

If Gannon wants to employ a joker he can be the guy for that as well.

Got to be. We do this everyday.

Last player in a tier is worth trading up for 🙂

For the record, had I been in the Eagles position, I would have not traded up and accepted the Bears' offer. Given how the board broke, I would have taken Paye in RD1.

yeah Toney is also undersized. Everyone knows that.

Yeah, it was an older article. 242 at his pro day.

nice RBs in this round for SF and NYG.

For a late 6th and late 7th in a thin draft? Getting a 5th in what should be very deep draft.

I don’t mind the trade just trying to follow that nonsense you were spewing last night. Carry on.

I don't think that 'all' disliked giving up the #84 pick.    Afan's dismissal of pick #84, but then celebrating getting a 5th round pick as highway robbery is the issue.   Pure hypocrisy.   Pick 84, even in this draft, was a premium pick.   Getting a 5th round pick for next year is a good thing.  Nothing wrong with celebrating that.  But don't degrade the #84's value just because the Eagles traded it away.   But, Howie traded away 84, so its trash.  Howie brought in the 5th rounder for 2022, so that's gold.   Lame.

It's hard to trust some of the measurements.  Our very own Dave Spadaro retweeted this.  It has Gainwell listed at 5-11. He's 5-8

Maybe Gannon is gonna revolutionize the way defense is played and run a 7 man DL front.

Toney is a little undersized as a LB, as a DE he is extremely undersized.

If he would’ve used high motor in that description would’ve felt a lot like what was said when Trent cole was drafted.

we are in round 6. Im not talking about finding a 3 down player. Im talking about a rotational 3rd down rusher. Hes excellent at it in spite of his light weight. Hes a heck of an athlete. And he can probably still add weight.
