I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Dude you’re missing the point. I’m talking about the position value in the top 10. The top WRs weren’t taken in the top 10. The top CBs were almost all taken in the top 10.

We need to use our rare top 10 pick on a valuable position we can’t get later.

You are off on this one buddy.

Wrong!  Ramsey and Gilmore are the only 2 good CBs in the league!

Lol. Gilmore is really good. Ramsey and Gilmore are probably the two best. But white, Alexander and Humphrey would probably be my top 5. All were first rounders.

There have only been 10 CBs taken in the top 10 in the last 10 years and the hit rate is like 50%. This is a pretty weak top end CB class. I think it would be a reach

Eh... from a talent standpoint Rodgers and Manning are the two best I’ve ever seen but Brady always gets it done in the postseason.

Rodgers and Manning isn’t close to Brady....10 SBs? It will never ever happen again.

Chiefs are a quality drafting team & using picks to trade for veteran talent. Their best 2 players makers were found outside of first round. Of course how they have consistent success will be difficult, not denying that

Tyreek hill in the 5th was a steal. He likely is nowhere in that area if he wasn’t a POS human.

You're missing the point, because you forget there are other CBs in the league not named Ramsey and Gilmore.  Outside of QB, top players at their position around the league are taken all over the draft.  There isn't a CB in this draft worth a top 10 pick.  Just because you take someone top 10 doesn't mean they'll be top at their position.

You’re forgetting latimore.

Now many of the best WRs in the league were taken top 10?

All those penalties to offset lol

FGs!

And he was a sixth-round pick. That’s proof that you don’t take a QB top 5.

Is that how the argument works?

funny how the team protects the qb when they like the guy.

Corners are hindered by the rules anymore

Its a passing league get the best wr

I don't want to spend the no 6 pick on someone who's not allowed to do his job properly

Cb value has gone down

That crap is funny

Chase may not separate in the NFL.  Smith may not be able to physically tolerate high volume.  Pitts is a TE who will need to be used creatively to transition into an elite receiving weapon.

There is plenty of opportunity to screw this up both in the draft and with the development/usage afterwards.

It doesn't matter for Chase. Smith would have had 20 catches vs Clemson in the National Championship lol. And Pitts being framed as a TE everyone in the league is going to laugh at a few years from now.

Dude was kicked out of college and had major red flags, it’s amazing he got drafted at all. He’d be an easy first rounder if he wasn’t a POS. The "you can get a guy like Hill in the 5th” is a pretty disingenuous argument.

Yep. If you follow the WTFcares school of drafting 😂

The Bills are sore losers. Embarrassing.

Guys still get tribal tattoos? Did the Chiefs OL frost his tips too?

I definitely agree with that, but still credit to them for rolling the dice and it working out

Not an argument I was trying to make but I get if that’s how you took it.

Lattimore is a bubble guy for me in the 'top' at his position class.  He gets away with murder in coverage way too often IMO.  He honestly reminds me of Patrick Peterson, someone who had a great rookie year, then people fawned while they were pedestrian after that.  For longevity, Peterson did have 1 legit all pro year after his rookie season as well.  Which kept people from thinking he lost a step.  Then went back to being just ok.

I mean he did get in trouble again with the whole kid incident. I’m pretty sure a large reason they drafted mecole hardman in the 2nd round that offseason was because they were unsure hill would still be able to play.

Pick your poison

A- Chiefs

B- Bucs

The fact that he's playing after that incident is just sad.

Chase please.

If he's not there, start the trade downs. Rebuild the secondary with a top S and CB. Moehrig and Stokes or Samuel Jr
