Those that oppose want to shut the Government down. That is their long term goal. Shut down and don't raise the debt limit causing a default and resulting in potential economic disaster. Easier for Trump to try and take over in 2024 when he loses. Again. McCarthy is making deals with the devil and doesn't have the best interests of the American People in mind. Its clear nothing will get done in the House for 2 years.

January 6, 20232 yr With as long as its gone on, if the moderate dems ( or any dems really) cared about a functional govt and cared about people (they dont) wouldnt it be in the best interest of the country to put him in and marginalize the trump morons?
