Yes Hospitals overwhelmed because of the unvaxxed, they need to be punished and not everyone, looks like in Toronto they may not allow fans again even the vaxxed, things like this are going to get people mad and what happens is right wing loons will get voted in all over, Apple stores now limiting occupancy again for everyone. Time to stop treating the unvaxxed and vaxxed alike

Nope. I know you're really old/overweight, but get in shape. Start taking Vitamin D and zinc regularly. Get the vaccine and get the booster as soon as you're eligible. Live and let live.

Yeah it's totally weird how pharmaceutical companies would attempt to produce vaccines and treatments for a virus causing a global pandemic.

Must be a conspiracy.

Medicare should stop covering Covid treatments for the unvaccinated.

Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, etc. And let private insurance companies deny coverage if they want to.

We have to stop inconveniencing everyone due to the choices of a few. Don't want to get vaxxed -- fine by me. But decisions have consequences.

Prioritize the responsible people who got vaccinated for hospital beds.

Problem solved.

"Prioritize the responsible" so anyone over 300 should be last on the list for a hospital bed, too.

I have no problem with insurance companies charging an obesity premium. Or a premium for smokers.

Decisions have consequences. But good to see you're on board with denying access to those who choose to remain unvaccinated.

He has to check his Qanon handbook for what it says,  these people don't have thoughts on their own.

Anyone dealing with this:

Have a pair of family members who are in their 70, were good about getting their COVID shots but *refuse* to get a flu shot.  When I point out that the flu can be deadly for people in their age group the answer I got was "Oh, I'm one of those people who got the flu shot once and then got the flu"

Doesn't this happen already?  I feel like there is a question about if I smoke every year when I set up my benefit elections.

Sure, but it's still a bit more complicated than that when you've got hospital staffs severely shorthanded and the ones still there suffering from massive burn out. They can't turn away these idiots, so as long as they keep showing up at the ER in droves, the problem remains.

It probably says you should avoid being fat and old. Try it, maybe?

Change EMTALA and let them suffer. I'm done giving a damn about idiots (if I ever did).

Ours does.  I always answer "no" since I assume they mean tobacco.

Yeah we had 3 options if I remember. No. Yes and pay the surcharge (I want to say 600 a year). Or yes and you want assistance quitting. I think if you took the assistance you could avoid the surcharge for a year.

We also had to get a wellness exam every year or pay a surcharge.

Sure, but governors hands are tied in that regard. Most pragmatic option available to most of them are to encourage booster uptake and continue NPIs that we're all tired of. There are still failures at every level of government and it looks like omicron will only continue to expose them. The price we all pay for living amongst the dumbest collection of morons in this nation's history.

Yeah, if they ever deny payment to healthy, vaccinated people we will be in big trouble.

I've never rooted for it.

What kind of a weird F'ing loser calls someone a liar when they say a friend's parent died?  Imagine saying that in real life.  It's legitimately insane.
