Yes, this thing has changed & we've had variants. But i feel like preaching such certainty after a year of panic and fear was a bit much. Since the science keeps changing, how about some cautious optimism instead of the way she presented it.

That's not how "science" works - that's how viruses work.  What is objectionable is when our scientific "leaders" mislead us with statements that prove to be incorrect a year later.  What is especially objectionable is the dearth of communication on the protocol for treatment when symptoms of infection manifest themselves.

If the federal government is so convinced that masks work, why don't they start requiring N-95s...or even issue them to every single American?  The studies I've seen suggest that the paper, surgical masks are only marginally effective and the cloth masks do nothing.  Neither do anything to protect the wearer, only others from the wearer. 

Either mandate masks that actually work or eliminate them all together.  Enough of this nonsense. 

Biden is throwing up the white flag, as he should. He knows he was lying when he told Americans he would end the pandemic. 

Side note, I'm always fascinated at watching Biden walk for extended periods of time. It just feels like he's either going to fall down or visibly crap himself. He did well here, though. Good for him.

When the CDC lifted mask mandates for vaccinated people in the spring, it was because it was extremely unlikely for vaccinated people to spread the virus. That changed with Delta. After the virus mutated, the circumstances changed and made the prior stance incorrect. You’re basically pulling up an announcer saying the Giants were winning 3-0 in the second quarter and mocking him after the game. 
 

The ridiculous lengths people go to in order to justify their position  is amazing. 

knowing how completely and utterly worthless the vaccines are at preventing transmission, why would the little weasel continue to push for this? Just because he's a vindictive little weasel?
