Not sure what day of this crap it is.....was up every hour on the hour last night.  Again...no issues breathing thank god, still have smell and taste....still just achy, sore.  Asked the girlfriend to give me a massage...within two seconds of her touching my skin I had to ask her to stop.  It's f'ing weird, my skin when touched feels like broken glass is being dragged across it.  Oh....and my poo is neon green!!  I'm hoping from the green Nyquil lmao.....

Hang in there, the turn is coming

Green food coloring or your intestines are moving so fast that you don't have a chance to break down bile (bile starts out bright green). Neither are anything to worry about. As long as you're breathing is OK you're in good shape. Hang in there.

Breathing fine...actually just went for a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood to try and get some fresh air and movement.  Still feeling weak and achy but trying to just not become too sedentary.

Sounds awful but you’re home and breathing normally. Hang in there

Yeah breathing seems to be the big thing. @NYEagle if you can, take some really deep breaths at ceratin times each day. Chris Cuomo had the same symptoms as you and he said taking deep breathes might hurt, but you HAVE to do it to keep from getting respiratory problems.

Oh and my poop turns green from broccoli.

Hopefully you'll luck out and won't be affected. Some say coffee smells like burnt rubber.

Larry King got the Covid. That doesn't seem to be a good thing considering his age and doesn't he have health problems already?

He is still alive? That's good to know I guess

Guess this is day 6 or 7?  Same crap different day.....nothing too bad...no fever, still breathing fine....just aches, especially in the legs/calf area.  All in all, a sucky experience but again....I've heard people with a lot worse so I'm grateful overall.  I'm used to being home (work from it) so I'm fine with being here...my girlfriend on the hand is bouncing off the walls and I fear if we are forced to stay in this house for another week......she may go crazy!!  She is actually saying she is feeling fine after 5 days.....

me and my wife had it right before Christmas. i got it first, around the 11th, then she came down with it a few days later. mine was the worst i suppose as i’m a big puss when it comes to being sick. i had 4 days of a mild onset, then 72 hours of torture, then woke up feeling great the next Saturday. lost my sense of taste and smell for about 5 days and was a little fatigued, but i’m back in the gym as of last Monday, and completely over it. i did hit the Emergen-C and a little zinc supplement daily. i’m 62. hope you get back to normal real soon. 👍

Look at all these Trump voters, Republican anti-maskers and science deniers from Philly, Baltimore and Chicago packing out clubs in Atlanta for NYE, even getting into a night club brawl.

Second lawmaker in his early 40s to die within this week after getting COVID in December. Why are people not taking this virus seriously?

Probably never going to be able to prove causation here from COVID. Virus seems to like blood vessels so it's possible sure but people also just get aneurysms sometimes too. It'd be interesting to see the year long numbers of aneurysms and see how they compare to average.

Oh come on, you know every cause of death is covid now. Nobody does from anything else anymore 😉 🙃 😆

It’s not a respiratory virus, it attacks the pulmonary system. It’s nearly the same cause of death as the Louisiana congressman elect.

I think it's possible sure. Just won't ever be able to say for sure.

Not sure what you mean by this? It binds exceptionally well to ACE2 receptors found in abundance in the upper and lower respiratory tract. How is it not a respiratory virus? Unless you mean it can, in some cases, cause severe disease beyond just the respiratory tract, but that's more of a description of covid-19 rather than sars-cov-2

The end result is to release what is known as a "bradykinin storm”—a huge and uncontrolled accumulation of bradykinin in certain parts of the body. According to the bradykinin hypothesis, it is this biochemical surge, which dramatically increases vascular permeability, that ultimately causes many of Covid-19’s deadly effects. Jacobson said:

"The bradykinin hypothesis explains the horrific mortality rates in Covid-19 patients. When you look at the places in the body that would be affected by a bradykinin excess, they correlate with the symptoms of Covid-19, from myalgia (muscle pain) and arrhythmia (an irregular heartbeat) to cramping, diarrhea and decreased cognitive function.”

In the lungs for example, leaking blood vessels cause rising fluid levels. Immune cells also leak, causing inflammation. Research by the Oak Ridge team has shown that Covid-19 also increases production of hyaluronic acid (HLA)—and when this combines with fluid in the lungs, it forms a jelly-like hydrogel. This means Covid-19 patients can suffocate, even when they are on ventilator support.

Sure, but that again is an aspect of the disease, not the virus, and is also highly variable. You can also include the cardiac and neurological effects experienced in some patients as well. There are ACE2 receptors everywhere, but primarily you'll find those infected by this virus in the respiratory tract.

If the EMB medical experts can't sort it out, then we're really lost.
