Usually a high end steakhouse for ribeye, potato side, mac and cheese, etc. And then some kind of insane dessert. An hour later I basically can’t move. Mine is 3 McDoubles, Large Fry, and Large McFlurry. Total crap but awesome for a refeed and can kill a workout the next day.

Not because you cheated, but because it's like your body rejecting the junk. Or you can skip the healthy eating and cheat every day, I figure if the end of the world is coming enjoy the food

My breakfast is the same every day. 3 egg omelette, cup of oatmeal with berries and coffee and water. That should only be a big issue with lactose intolerance no? I dunno I limit dairy as much as possible outside of special occasions. Swapped any cream use with homemade aioli. Still use too much ghee but hey. But the yogurts seem on the up and up and has my poos in a happy place. 9 minutes ago, rambo said: There's tons of nutritionists out there. They'll give you what portions of what you should consume. Hell once you're in a routine you don't need them anymore. 99% of eating healthy is meal prep. I'm basically an egg and slice of breakfast meat on a light english muffin for breakfast. Salad w/grilled chicken at lunch. And a balanced dinner with reasonable portions. Having salads made and menu plan for the week helps a ton. My only downfall is beer. Still even with my beer drinking I manage to stay under 160 mostly based off diet. If you're doing a lot of grilled chicken I'd suggest a brine. 2 quarts of water, 1/3 cup of kosher salt, 1/4 cup sugar + whatever herbs and spices you'd like. Warm until it's all dissolved. Marinate chicken in it for anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours. Makes a huge taste difference. If you want another high protein option I do this pretty often. Simple homemade hummus but it's 100x better than store-bought https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1017734-zahavs-hummus-tehina
March 13, 20214 yr Of course I say this on a day I cooked myself a fat ham + cheese three egg omelette with a couple sausage links In my defense it's Saturday.

I have been using Coco Whip, dairy free, with some fresh fruits and a healthy granola most mornings with a protein shake. It works

March 13, 20214 yr What are the thoughts on walking ? How many miles a day is recommended? Eskin says he walks around 10 miles a day, that seems absurd
March 13, 20214 yr Anyone who cooks might I suggest this book if you're trying to up your vegetable game. It's not all healthy (the fried cauliflower with caper aioli is sexual) but really helps you spice up meals without relying on leaning on meats and dairy. 1 minute ago, vikas83 said: Remember - most Indians are lactose intolerant. We can't truly eradicate anything without a consistently robust response that includes the poorest nations. This includes educating remote populations and tribal communities that do not understand disease and are suspicious or western medicine after centuries in a postcolonial world. Even after the last reported case of smallpox was reported in the U.S. 1949, nearly 200 years after Jenner created a vaccine for it, it still took another 30 years to eradicate the disease worldwide. So, if we literally have to subsidize the public health of African nations, we need to do it in concert with global community, otherwise we'll be unable to really contain this and constantly have have the virus circulating and mutating outside our front door. Definitely. Polio is on the brink but compete eradication is always difficult. That being said, measles is the most contagious virus we know of and yet confirmed cases of measles are still super rare domestically because of how effective its vaccine was. That's where we'll probably be with this in 2 years.

I always thought of "inoculation" as an older term and associated it with the process used by Jenner, which squares with your description as technically being an inoculation, since he was basically just shooting people up with cowpox. I'm guessing that we don't really inject fully active viruses in people much anymore, so inoculation as a disease-prevention method is more or less obsolete. I always thought inoculation and vaccination were interchangeable, perhaps mistakenly. Jenner using cow pox or tiny amounts of open pox sores was called something else specifically, but I forget what the term was.

Jenner using cow pox or tiny amounts of open pox sores was called something else specifically, but I forget what the term was. There are/(were?) subtle differences. Inoculate means to introduce a microorganism to something (eg inoculate people with cowpox virus to prevent smallpox, or inoculate a petri dish with bacteria). It has since become used interchangeably with vaccinate though (eg inoculate against measles with a vaccine). So the differences are pretty minimal. Inoculate is a just a bit broader..

But I don't wear a mask in my own office or when outside. I had to meet a client at a local university and they require kids to wear them OUTDOORS between classes! The world has gone insane! Also, herd immunity for the rest can be accomplished through natural infection. There's nothing inherently wrong with that for low-risk individuals. Except for those with persistent symptoms (even in healthy young adults) from a disease we know very little about. And also the fact that they're infectious to their friends and family during that time. But yeah, besides that, it's perfectly fine.

I mostly stick to a Mediterranean style diet, with minimal sugar and low sodium levels, but I can't abstain from a bombass cheeseburger or wood fired pizza topped with fresh bocconcini and sausage.
