J and J is only 60% effective iirc. Also wonder what behaviors these people are engaging in. Being vaccinated isn't an excuse to act foolishly. Even after being vaccinated, I don't want throngs of strange people in my face.

In the J&J trial, the placebo group had 16 hospitalizations and seven deaths from COVID-19, whereas the vaccine group had none, which means the vaccine provided 100 percent efficacy against hospitalizations and deaths.

My wife has a patient in her hospital who has been vaccinated as well. Not sure which one they got.

Worth noting that the J&J vaccine made it through trials of 20K without a problem, because the incidence of a problem is a few per million.

the efficacy is a bit all over. J&J's peak efficacy in US trials was upwards of 70%; it was the only one of the first three approved vaccines that was tested against the South African variant which brought its overall efficacy down. It was still effective, but SA variant efficacy was like 58%.

it's fairly effective at reducing severe cases, though moderate cases it's less effective. it's also less effective for older patients than younger.

it definitely is, overall, less effective than the mRNA based vaccines though.

That is over the top, which is what he does but the reality seems like these are not as effective as we are lead to believe, more and more stories of not just cases but people being hospitalized,  cases are still going up and hospitalizations are up.

I'm watching history videos on YouTube. The TV in general just makes me angry these days.

After learning about how the bicycle cost Britain Malaysia, I began delving into the US atomic program back in the 40s-60s

Current spikes are largely attributed to unvaccinated young people. We are seeing large surges in hospitals from St. Patrick's day and Spring Break partiers.

Need more time.  If he said this in August, maybe he'd have a point.  Everyone wants everything yesterday.  Pandemics don't work like that.

Lots of increased child cases as they are forced back into schools.

Ok but I don't have faith in the younger people getting vaccinated. It is going to come down to whether people can be forced to get it or not, if not then it is hopeless, if so then this will end  at some point
