That's a lot of new cases per day. I mean I know the states is much bigger than the UK but we are getting just under 2,000 per day at this point. In fact today it was about 1,500.

Things are not as good as some think, just look at the numbers

Buoyed by the surge in the northeast but now that seems to be over, so we are on pace to be under 10k by end of June.

And what restrictions are you guys living with?

It's pretty clear that the vaccines have avoided a strong spring wave in the UK and the US. Take a look at Canada. Way behind in vaccinations and it shows...

Depends on where you live.  I'm in the south and we haven't really had any restrictions since last spring.  But most of the people on here are from up north or out west where the restrictions have been much more heavy handed.

Every state is different

I think I get it now. You're terrified of the world re-opening because then you'll have to face your sad, pathetic existence without the built in excuse of being locked down. You'll have to confront the reality that nobody likes you, and that you have no friends. To make matters worse, you'll have to see others actually having fun again while you sit in your dark room all alone listening to Depeche Mode.

Very regional. Southern states basically have none. Northwest is rolling back capacity restrictions now. Northeast seems to have plans in place to roll back. Mask mandates are last to fall and again depend on region.

God I mean it must be nice to not really have any restrictions. We have been so restricted for a year now.

It's nice I guess, but I mean I've basically self-imposed plenty of restrictions.  We've also had a lot of deaths.  My hometown got hit really hard.

Yeah but we've had a lot of deaths and still had those restrictions. That's the worst of both sides.

Who doesn't love oppressive Humidity, bugs the size of a volkswagon and people like KZ everywhere?

What restrictions have you had?  Because, like I said, I've made plenty of changes on my own (and most of the people I know have too).  The armed to the teeth/screaming about freedom/licking doorknob types are the ones that never changed anything in their lives from the get-go.  And, no surprise, those are most of the people I know that have gotten the virus.

Weekend reports are always lower

Been a little over an hour.  Still here.  Have a bruise already but doesn't hurt.  I wasn't really relaxed.  Working the arm, took 2 tylenol, some prozac, started claratin over the weekend, always take a daily D3 supplement, have my water.   I'm out of wine so won't be drinking any of that today.  Somebody told me to eat pineapple, so I did that too.  First does only had a sore arm.
