That is so ridiculous. Vaccines are not mind control. They are simply the method of choice to get the microchip in us.

July 8, 20214 yr The percentage of unvaccinated people among recent covid deaths should be relatively consistent across all states assuming they all have similar distribution of vaccine types. The number of covid deaths, or deaths per capita, would be higher in states with lagging vaccination rates though you'd have to account for the predominance of variants. A state like Missouri is especially vulnerable both due to the lagging vaccination rates, and also due to the predominance of delta. Meanwhile a state like Massachusetts should fare much better due to higher vaccination rates and lesser prevalence of delta. As for the headlines stating how effective or ineffective the vaccines are against delta, caution must be used to understand exactly what's being conveyed. When it comes to metrics in this context, there are three primary categories... Prevention of asymptomatic disease (e.g. You're infected and potentially unknowingly spreading it to others.) Prevention of symptomatic disease (e.g. You have symptoms of an infection, but not severe enough that you'd go to a hospital or require medical intervention.) Prevention of severe disease (e.g. You're sick as F and need to get your ass to urgent care or the hospital.) Most of the commonly cited metrics of efficacy were in reference to that second category, such as when Pfizer stated their mRNA candidate we 94% effective of the original strain (pre-UK / alpha variant.) We knew that prevention of severe disease was likewise 99+%. And while determining efficacy against symptomatic disease was most difficult, we came out to somewhere in the 91% range. It was at this point that the CDC infamously revised their guidelines for all vaccinated people. Delta seems to tilted things a bit though. So while mRNA vaccines are still overall extremely effective, we are seeing some signs that delta is a bit better than alpha and classic at breaking through. Coming up with revised percentages are very difficult because of all the variables that need to be controlled for now but we do know from a study in Singapore than vaccinated people can be infected with delta and spread it to other vaccinated people. So while some revised efficacy estimates are suspiciously low (like from Israel) most fall into the 70-80% range for asymptomatic prevention, about 85-90% for symptomatic prevention, and about 97-99% for severe prevention. All in all, regional levels of community spread will continue to be the biggest factor of dictating personal risk, but this does mean most states will see an uptick come fall/winter and possibly even result in a return of indoor mask mandates in some cases. TL/DR: get the F'ing shot for you and anyone else you care about. This is a no-brainer just as it always has been.
July 8, 20214 yr The virus is doing its job, killing the stupid. The problem is it will keep mutating, forced vaccinations are the only way to stop it.
July 8, 20214 yr Where’s my **** @Green Dog? Didn’t take long for me to be proven 100% right again. You’d think the kid would learn lmao

They aren't variants, they're "scariants" aimed at scaring everyone into getting booster shots and/or the delta variant vaccine being developed by Pzier. Folks need to know how the pharamdical and medical communities play the numbers game, all they need to do is say you're numbers are up and patients rush into unnecessary operations or begin taking pharameticuls with dangerous side effects. Take control of your own health by way of what you put or not put into your body, "the germ is nothing and the terrian is everything" Louis Pastor, the mastermind of Germ Theory which he recanted on his death bed........this means that you don't catch anything from anyone, it's all BS folks!!

I think the guidance was fine, the interpretation by states and a switch to the honor system was less so. But ultimately, it should be dictated by positive cases per capita. Nationally, it's very tough to provide guidance now due to such large disparities in regions and states, and delta will ensue that will only grow. If you're in an area with lagging vaccination rates and sustained community spread, then masking up indoors surely can't hurt.

There was an element of behavioral psychology to it as well. They were banking on the thought that the guidance would encourage people on the fence to go out and get vaccinated. From what we know now, it seemed to work to a degree. But like you said, I do wish they would've added some caveats to the guidance and specified more of an objective, metric based approach for when mask mandates should be lifted.
