Doctors warn Americans NOT to gargle iodine to prevent Covid after anti-vaxxers falsely claim on social media that it protects against the virus

  • Betadine, an iodine-based antiseptic, has been falsely deemed a potential COVID-19 prophylactic
  • Rumors about the drug sprouted on a Thai television program before later being spread on social media
  • The drug is FDA approved and safe for human use, but has never demonstrated an ability to fight viruses
  • Developers of the drug issued a statement saying the drug is not effective at combatting COVID-19

Like I said above I won't mock anyone for it or trash them for it. However, when someone feels the need to come at me with it and projecting their beliefs on me in a disrespectful way that's when I get irritated and will proceed to mock them.

I don't go around shouting I'm an atheist I don't say I don't believe every chance I get when someone mentions god. It's not hard to respect people and their differences.

I still don't get why we afford certain "religions" special status.   People mock weird things people believe all the time -- like satanist religions; or space alien based cults - err religions.  This protection for "religion" keeps it going.  Maybe people need to say the "emperor has no clothes"?

Would it be okay to mock you, if you told me you believed in Elves?   Why is "god" any different?   Why isn't that allowed to be mocked?

I just try to stay away from all of that. Like I said I will if someone is pushing me on it but, I won't just randomly start making fun of somebody for it because they said god bless you to me lol.

Reminder, there are people in every field that graduate at the bottom of their class. The tiny percentage of physicians prescribing ivermectin are no different.

One of my best friends runs a landscaping and farming supply retail and online business. He's sold hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of horse Ivermectin.

Yeah I think death is actually pretty scary for atheists.

Quite the opposite. For me, this is the only life I have and understand death will get us all so am enjoying life to the fullest.

Unvaccinated people lead to higher transmission rates which leads to higher mutation rates.

I'm naturally vaccinated to this point. The side effects of the vaccine have had far more effect on people than the virus had on me.

Somebody needs to tell that guy to limit his time around groups indoors. Who has time for that crap? Get your stuff and get out of the store.

You can still catch covid.  Just as I can.  I had a sore arm that's it.  Actually isn't that a less effect then your covid?

You aren't naturally vaccinated. You were infected. Once you take the vaccine you will be vaccinated.

When i got vaxxed some dude was talking up natural immunity as a reason to not get jabbed and the doctor laughed in his face, asked him to walk around the hospital and take a poll of all the workers who had gotten it 3-4 times already.

I think it just depends on what each place has in stock. At work back in March when I got mine they were giving out Moderna but when I got my second shot of Moderna in April they were giving Pfizer to people getting their first shot.

Unvaccinated people lead to higher transmission rates which leads to higher mutation rates.

Interesting,  for some reason, I thought it was age and or underlying health issues but mostly age.  The old people 50 plus got Moderna, the 30 to 50 age got Pfizer and JnJ were for the young.    I know JnJ has a side effect of blood clots.    But you are probably right.

Edit...wait, as a matter of fact, it came in waves....in my state the 1st wave was the health care workers and nursing home folks, very old, 2nd wave 50 plus and essential workers, then 30 50 then under 30.   Thats probably where i got the idea.

I KKznow who needs to hear this.

If this is what you really believe than clearly you’re wrong because the virus has caused you tremendous brain damage.

OK, I have 2 responses. Choose your own adventure style.

1. Can't damage something that never existed.

2. That wasn't the virus. His brain was damaged long ago. Likely from eating paint chips.

I knew this was gonna happen and said I was for it months ago.   If there wasn't a bed for a car accident  victim in the icu  throw the unvaxxed covid guy out...boy oh boy did I get a huge lashback for it.

100% never happened.
