Refs taking over a bit

Harden is so hard to watch play PG. Dribbles until the shot clock is at or below 10 seconds and just kills the possession.  He can’t shoot, he’s not quick, he turns it over too much and just looks to draw a foul.   No flow or pace.

with Embiid back, and that kind of performance from Green, we may be coming back to Philly up 3-2. 

thats the exact type of play thats not supposed to be called a foul. But harden had a ton of contact on his layup earlier and got nothing.

I hope they play with the same urgency and energy. I worry this team goes in waves with that. Like Toronto first two games they did. Game three they found it second half. Then took two games off to re-find it. 

won the 2nd quarter as well. 

Tough shot by maxey at the end there. Not sure why that was so rushed. But glad he got it. 

On Miami’s end I’m surprised that they haven’t inserted Herro for more minutes for strus and tried Duncan robinson. Robinson has been good against the sixers in the past. He averages 12-3-1 and shoots 36% from three. Strus outside of game two really hasn’t been good this year and career wise isn’t all that great against the sixers. 

If the sixers can just cut their turnovers down in the second half (particularly harden) they could really pull away in this game. 10 is high. Miami has 9.  But we are doing a great job not allowing Miami to have a ton of offensive boards. Just 4 so far. So limiting the second chance points. 

Maxey is a real sniper.

Had a conversation with my dad yesterday, who’s the second best player on this team? I think right now I’d lean slightly harden but by next year it might be maxey and it might not be close.

You've watched a lot more of them than I have, but Maxey's talent just jumps off the screen. He's a rare breed.

At this stage of their careers i think maxey is a better scorer in terms of driving and finishing  harden still is crafty enough to get to the FT and get 14-18 a game. But harden is a better facilitator. I think with time maxey gets there but he’s still young and he likely improves that this offseason. Even though he isn’t harden of the rockets he is still really good at distributing especially with embiid out there. I wish i had the stats but they discussed it on Sirius that embiid and harden on the floor together in the postseason was something absolutely ridiculous in terms of net rating
