Harden is a pedestrian version of his formal self but with Embiid on the court Harden becomes an excellent role player. I do not want to sign him but if that happens we can at least look forward to having a complimentary piece in place for another year or two despite the super stupid high price. As frustrating as he is to watch it is worth keeping in mind how much better off we are with Harden in the game instead of Simmons when crunch time roles around.

Tobi has stepped up bigly. Learned to play off harden and it has opened things up for him.

can they get seth back on an mle next yr? What can we trade thybulle for?

I’d like Harden in the team for a couple years but not thru a top line contract. He isn’t in that group of players anymore. Far better than Ben in any case.

I am better than Ben. I can shoot free throws…

i actually hope harden just opts in for next yr so we can get another season the evaluate. But harden will want money. Hopefully he likes embiid and morey enough to make it work. Dude has money. He wants a ring

He can get more can get slightly more by opting in. .. 47 million is a lot of money for a one year evaluation on a guy who is not who he once was and won't be again. 

Then still have to hope Embiid has a relatively healthy season again....

Dallas giving the Suns fits right now. Figured Phoenix would take that one in 5 or 6 but the Mavs are definitely making it interesting.

Refs taking over a bit

Harden is so hard to watch play PG. Dribbles until the shot clock is at or below 10 seconds and just kills the possession.  He can’t shoot, he’s not quick, he turns it over too much and just looks to draw a foul.   No flow or pace.  

Won the quarter.

Was gonna say the same thing. This is like spurs vintage green the last two games. I hope he continues it into Miami next game.

with Embiid back, and that kind of performance from Green, we may be coming back to Philly up 3-2. 

thats the exact type of play thats not supposed to be called a foul. But harden had a ton of contact on his layup earlier and got nothing.

I hope they play with the same urgency and energy. I worry this team goes in waves with that. Like Toronto first two games they did. Game three they found it second half. Then took two games off to re-find it. 

won the 2nd quarter as well. 

Tough shot by maxey at the end there. Not sure why that was so rushed. But glad he got it. 

On Miami’s end I’m surprised that they haven’t inserted Herro for more minutes for strus and tried Duncan robinson. Robinson has been good against the sixers in the past. He averages 12-3-1 and shoots 36% from three. Strus outside of game two really hasn’t been good this year and career wise isn’t all that great against the sixers. 

If the sixers can just cut their turnovers down in the second half (particularly harden) they could really pull away in this game. 10 is high. Miami has 9.  But we are doing a great job not allowing Miami to have a ton of offensive boards. Just 4 so far. So limiting the second chance points. 

Maxey is a real sniper.
