He was bad. Really bad. But I don’t like the idea of giving up on him after one game. I’d give him tonight’s game and see where he stands. If he’s just as bad as Saturday, pull the plug. If he does an alright job, I’d give him another game. 

well, brett gave neto minutes to keep ben from having to play pg....so i imagine he'll give shake another shot at it before putting ben back at the 1.

pretty sad that the pg/lead guard options are a guy who can't/won't shoot from beyond 5 feet, a 2nd year guy who was drafted 54th, and neto. 

My biggest issue with Brown’s decisions the other night is why he wasn’t playing Thybulle more to defend Warren? Kid only got 12 minutes in a game where he could have been utilized to try and slow down the one Pacer that was killing them. In the short time Thybulle actually played and guarded Warren, I believe he was scoreless (shot 0 for 2 I believe).

Yeah I get that. I still say you keep him on Warren in the second half. If he fouls out he fouls out, but something had to be done to slow down Warren because nothing else was working.

Im tempted to put it on Simmons to hit a 3 tonight to win a few hundred bucks. But I also hate to waste a 36 dollar bet when Ben is pretty unlikely to even attempt 1.

Giannis and maybe Khris, who gets to the line 3.5 times a game and that isn't a lot for a "scorer"

thats the thing. those players always suck. Their D is never that good. And neither is their 3 point shot. And they never develop for us.

But thats like all we ever draft for years. 3 and D. It doesnt work. And we are more devoid of any offensive talent right now. Need shot creators before more 3 and D.

Zhaire Smith was supposed to be another 3 and D. Doesnt work. Shamet was one. Hes traded away. Mike Scott is another. Hes out of the rotation.

and Embiid just said he wants to play with Ben for the rest of his career.

6ers have to make a big time move this offseason. 

But I think its the coach's job to establish an identity. When he had JJ he just ran circles around Embiid and that was the offense. JJ is gone and they dont even do that anymore.
